Perhaps that's because they have yet to release a video for Alone... Sony Philippines tend to release Celine's ballads since Filipinos are known to prefer slow love songs than uptempo songs... In 1992, they released on radio I Love You Goodbye when no one else did in the world...and in 1996-1997 I Love You became bigger than BYLM and ABM... same level as IACBTMN here in my opinion... In 1998 they also released on radio When I Need You... During One Heart era, they released Stand By Your Side instead of IDAN.... So there more ballad-y stuff from Celine here... So I bought a second copy! PS: For some weird reason, I think I heard my neighbor turning their radio up so loud and overheard Taking Chances being played. I'm not into the whole Shakira thing of Eyes on Me either hehehe (lol)... but I have to admit I really love the background vocal arrangement...Kristian's voice simply blends perfectly with that of Celine! Most Of Them Listen To Love Songs Which I Really Find "KINDDA"Corny, but I Respect Them... Well, I Think "Alone" Is A Good Choice To Release As A Single In the Philippines... And I'm 97% sure Regine will sing this song in a Filipino channel and her fans put in Youtube and Make A Comments Like "WOW, She Sang It Better Than Celine... She Sang Effortless and Powerful...or Better Than The ORIGINAL" which make me sick... I'd rather hear Sarah (OMG, I MET This Girl And Shook Her Hand, She Looks Pretty) singin' this song or Lani M.
