I think thats what makes the live experience more fun, is having a more lively audience. Its just when people start getting too rowdy, to the point where you can't hear her, it sometimes ruins it. Like, for example, I had a drunk lady next to me at prudential center who was screaming the whole time...until she barfed ...it ruined most of the show for me. I think Celine Dion concerts are obviously going to be a way different show than shows in a smaller venue, because people don't get up and run around and push into people going crazy. It's a more of a classy event than that. I'm commenting on the person who was soooooo boooored at the concert. If you are going to see Celine, it's obvious its going to be a more relaxed scene than when you go to see a band. Quote http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b213/autumnskies00/siggy1-2.jpg

CelineFan4Life Posted September 25, 2008 at 01:21 PM Posted September 25, 2008 at 01:21 PM Thanks everyone for sharing pictures and videos! They are amazing and I appreciate the sharing. I still haven't had any luck finding any video or pictures of when Celine's dancers came running out from under the catwalk after the show followed by Celine. I would appreciate it if anyone on the site comes across any videos that could have my wife shaking Celine's hand as she leaned over the railing right next to the catwalk. It looks like some of the posters here might of actually been sitting pretty close to us Sorry to hear about the other person who didn't manage to find her Celine moment either. I uploaded My Heart Will Go On to youtube yesterday that I took from the show. I put in the comments for anyone who has or knows of someone who might have the exciting video to please post .My videos turned out pretty good, and I will uploading more of them over the next couple of days but please check this one out and let me know what you think. I already have 3 posts and they have been very nice.Enjoy this has even the beginning of the song and the end when Celine thanks her crew. Quote

#1 Celine Fan Posted September 25, 2008 at 07:50 PM Posted September 25, 2008 at 07:50 PM (edited) What's up everybody, just wanted to drop a line and tell everybody about how UNBELIEVABLE the concert in Columbus was!! It was my first Celine concert so I was SOOOOOOOOO excited. Oh, by the way, my husband is Brian, the guy that posted that link to youtube with the incredible My Heart Will Go On video, he's the man with that camera! We were literally about 15 ft. away from Celine when she came out on the catwalk. Brian told me today that he is getting ready to post another amazing video of I Drove All Night and you can see how awesome the seats were. I hope we get to see another concert soon, and in case you didn't read any of my husband's posts, we are looking for anyone who might have caught me shaking Celine's hand on video or a picture, only because now I can die happy!! Oh and my husband's name is NeoBlackBerry/CelineFan4Life. Okay well thanks for reading!! Belle Céline Posted September 25, 2008 at 08:15 PM Posted September 25, 2008 at 08:15 PM here's what I posted on a blog on myspace about the show,I know some of this has been said so forgive me for repeating what others said like the bit about the fan and the roses. well as you are probably aware my best friend and I for my birthday(which is next monday actually) went to see Céline Dion in concert on monday night. We left monday morning to go to Columbus,Ohio we took a Greyhound bus since it was alot cheaper than gas to drive all the way out there. It was seventy round trip and would have cost Miranda and I atleast three hundred dollars to drive her truck out.Neither of us could afford that needless to say, anyway it took about 4 hours give or take a few minutes to arrive in Columbus and it took my sister a few minutes extra to come pick us up.We got to my sisters hung out for a bit,Miranda drooled over the kitten my sister has then we got ready for the show, had dinner and left.Well we ended up leaving a half hour before the show and got stuck in miles and miles and miles of traffic which was going to the show. After another half hour around eight or a little after we made it to the place where the concert was,Scott dropped us off in the parking lot we ran for a shuttle to take us to the front of the building and after quickly buying a t-shirt,tourbook and some decorative pins we made literally a mad dash, well sprint rather around the building trying to find our seats which were pretty much nosebleed section.Well instead of running around like shoesless idiots(yes I had no shoes on it was to hard to run in heels for me especially since they were to big) we asked where to go and another guy who works at the venue came up with two tickets and asked if we were the only two in the three hundred section and we said yeah.Well the guy asked if we wanted to be upgraded,he hands up two nearly FRONT ROW tickets!!!We were five rows from the front!!! Miranda and I were literally two feet away from Céline Dion!! The side section of the stage came right into our section and we got some pretty decent pics with our phones since we were told they search bags and you can't take a camera, well they were wrong they peeked in my bag and told me to go!!ughh wish I'd had the camera, anyway it doesn't matter. We were so close we don't need great pics to remember it!I'll post pictures tomorrow when I have more time. But anyway the show starts Céline comes up from under the stage on this lift and the lights come on her,Miranda and I burst out screaming as loud as we can and are on the edge of our seats, the people beside us are probably deaf which I don't care at this point, the guy beside me was so rude!he complained he couldn't see when we stood up when Céline came to the side section and sang.Well to bad for him,it was my first show and I wasn't letting some old guy tell me I couldn't stand up,we did anyway! During the first part of the show Céline came over to us and looked RIGHT AT ME&Miranda!!She talked to us and told us to 'stand up,dance!' and god did we ever!We stood up screaming and reaching our hands out and if the next row hand't been roped off I could have stepped over and touched her hand but I didn't want to get in trouble so I stayed in my row.Céline's voice is absolutely amazing,it gave me chills espeically when she looked right at me!We took alot of video's and pics which I'll post the pics we can't do the video yet because we don't have a USB cord for Miranda's phone. But anyway Céline had several costume changes which were really quick and she would come right back out from under the stage except for one time she used the steps. She sang alot of her new songs and some older ones such as My Heart Will Go On,she closed with that and they brought all the lights down except for some bright lights, she had dozens of candles on the stage lights that would come down and they had these beautiful small dotted lights that went over the crowd. I think my favorite song of the night besides Fade Away,I Drove All Night and MHWGO was her cover of Queen's song The Show Must Go On.It was amazing!and she sang We Will Rock You!At one point in the show a fan had her in tears that had floor seats, this woman tossed some roses on stage,Céline bent down and picked one up sniffed it,thanked the woman and the crowd was awwing the whole time, well Céline being the sweetheart she is brought the woman to the edge of the stage, hugged her and then said to the crowd "you know the songs not over right?" because she was in the middle of a song when she stopped to get the rose.Well then she said "I forgot what key I was in!" and had to turn to her band and ask. Also at the start she talked and said she didn't know what language her son would speak by the end of the year because they've been to five contients! She also said being the baby of fourteen kids she liked to talk because at home when she got to say something she just kept talking because it wasn't often she could get a word in.Finally she said "You know I could talk all night and not sing?" she did stop talking and started into I Drove All Night. This has been the best birthday ever for me,I never thought I'd actually get to see THE Céline Dion in concert and never in my life did I think I'd be TWO feet from her!! My dream finally came true!I got to see Céline!! Hopefully you enjoyed reading my spaz about the show,I still get chills when I think about her looking right at Miranda and I and talking to us!It was just an amazing show all around,Céline sounds even more amazing live and I wish I had the money to go see her again! Allie Posted September 25, 2008 at 10:20 PM Posted September 25, 2008 at 10:20 PM Ah, my 2 cents. Show was okay. Not what I'm used to typically, for live shows. I had people pissed beside me for singing along... That was annoying. No one was into the music, just sat there, like old farts at a funeral. I will never go to another show like this again, just too big of a venue for me. I like a little more intimacy with the performer. She did tear it up though, no doubt about that. I shed a tear during the double encore... Glad to see everyone had a good time! You were singing along? No offense, but if you're singing loud enough so that the people around you can hear you...that's not a good thing. Applause, screaming, woo-ing, "I Love Yous" and ruckus after a performance are one thing but singing during....is another. (Unless she specifically asks you to, which in this case, the last verse of BYLM) Because they came to hear Celine, not you and basically, that's ruining the concert for them. Cause you're singing OVER Celine. It's no different than talking or answering your cell phone in the movie theater. Ah, its a struggle to care about other people in my perspective. I love music. And Celine happens to be an act I enjoy. I've been to over 500 live shows in 3 years... It should never be an issue to sing along. It's music. If I wanted to listen to her, I'd pop in her album, and just listen to it while I'm washing myself in the shower. But to see a LIVE act, you get to experience and feel the music, rather than just have a copy of a recording. I will sing at any concert, despite who's around me. Whether or not I sound good. If I enjoy someone, I'll sing, raise my arm, stomp my feet, and I'll even stand up and dance if I want. I don't care, I'm there for the performer and myself. And to be QUITE honest, the performer generally overpowers even the loudest talker... Anywho, not my type of show... Def. won't be going to another one. So you've annoyed 500 people? That's horrendous. ....Sorry, couldn't resist. Nah...there were people on both sides of him, so way more than 500 Quote

It was such an amazing show and yes the catwalks were better then I could of imagined. I looked for tickets for a long time before I bought two off the ticket exchange. I knew we wanted to be next to one of the catwalks but when we walked in the arena and realized where our seats were like 4 rows from the floor and almost on top of the catwalk. I am checking my videos for the requested ones also. I think I only have half of My Love, and will get that posted also. I will post more later but wanted to let you know I posted another youtube video Its I drove all night and is again pretty good quality!Heck if I could hit a couple more concerts I could probably get the whole thing!thx for all the great comments Quote

Belle Céline Posted September 26, 2008 at 09:00 PM Posted September 26, 2008 at 09:00 PM like I said my friend and I sang along, not loud enough to bother anyone or for even the people beside us to be bothered which on one side they were singing the other was not because it was an older gentlman and his wife who were very rude to us,I don't see anything wrong with singing along as long as you aren't blaring at the top of your lungs and bothering the rest of the crowd or people near enough to hear you. It's a concert people generally sing along so I don't see why Celine's concert should be any different.Feel free to sing along just don't bother other people is all I think. kacdion5 Posted September 28, 2008 at 09:25 PM Posted September 28, 2008 at 09:25 PM Another live report from Ramona: Towards the end of "My Love" I guess when she got on her knees maybe, some lady handed her a rose or two (white & red) . Celine said thank you, the crowd went absoulety crazy. Celine stopped right in the middle of the song. Celine fell onto her side and was kicking her leg . Then as the crowd settled down she said "you know the song is not over yet". They showed the lady on the big screen and she was crying hysterically. After the song ended, Celine pulled out each rose pedal and threw it into the crowd. She then said something like " this is the difference between being in a recording studio and here with you". Man am I kicking myself for not going. The crowd sounds AMAZING! A hell of alot better than the lame NY/NJ crowd from last week. From my point of view the lady attempted to toss Celine the flowers and Celine tried to catch them and missed. A few roses hit the stage and the rest fell to the floor. The audience 'awwwwwed' and that was when the music stopped. If you looked at Celine in the big screen she looked adorable, shaking her head and holding a white-slightly bent rose in her hand. Then she wave the lady to come over the barrier and they hugged. The lady had her face buried in Celine's shoulder. (I would have loved to be that lady!!!) The rest is as already been posted. The crowd was amazing! At many points during the show Celine was soo close. I had seats near one of the long parts that came out from the stage. She was beautiful! Quote

BUT i had floor seats, and I was the closest to her I had ever been for one of her performances. It was thrilling to say the least. She never ceases to amaze me with the power of her voice. It was in perfect form. She of course looked phenomenal. I stood up for the duration of the show (there was no one behind me) - to see better. One very special moment in the show came when she sang "My Love". She explained how difficult it was to record it in the studio as it was an emotional song for her and that singing it for us tonight would show its true meaning. The stadium was dead silent. We waited. "My looove...we have seen it aalll." It was a pure sound that sifted its way through the crowd and settled around each of us - only her voice could we hear ringing through the speakers. What a beautiful sound. No instruments to mask its supple texture or shadow its rich resonance. "...The endless confession - the rise and fall..." Just before the last verse of the song, "Did you see? I could Break? Did you notice, all my mistakes? There were times, I could feel you in my mind..." Celine at this pivotal point in the song was on her knees at the edge of the stage when a dedicated woman struggled to throw roses up to her. The white blooms scattered over the edge of the platform, causing the Singer to pause. The crowd was frenzied. It was this very moment she had been singing of that presented itself to her right there and she could do nothing but acknowledge it. She just sat and smiled at the adoring fan, in gratitude and minor disbelief. She picked up the stem, closed her eyes and deeply inhaled the scent of the white pedals like it was the first time. In a bout of surrender and emotion, she threw herself back on the stage and clasped her hands together and said quietly, "Do you know that the song isn't over?" The crowd laughed wildly and she quipped, "And I thought singing it in the studio was hard..." Turning herself upright, she looked at the woman and motioned her over to the edge of the stage. The Singer wanted to return the favor and so she hugged her. In a long embrace between fan and star, Celine warmly gave her all she could, her thumb lovingly moving back and forth over the weeping fan's shoulder. It was a candid moment that you only wish to see at events like this. Something that separates this night from all the others. An unscripted, unexpected and unassuming picture of what it means to a performer to be loved. And to the fan, in return. Celine, with soggy eyes turned to the band, "I forgot which key we're in," ...and softly finished the lyric, her eyes fixed on the emotional fan, she sang the rest of it to her. "Did you know, I take the time for you? Did you know, that I could see right through? Did you know, that I would play the part? I know I made it clear right from the start." Thank you for reading... it was a memorable night. What a wonderful review of "My Love". I like how you made it sound like we were reading a book. @ Sarah: So glad you got the opportunity to meet Celine. You give me hope for my shows I felt the same way reading this. I was able to relive the entire moment of that 'My Love,' song. One of my fav parts of the show!! Thanks! Anyone have pictures or a vid of this?? Quote
