autumnskies00 Posted November 19, 2007 at 05:28 PM Author Posted November 19, 2007 at 05:28 PM Heres what I think we should do. Obviously she will do an encore then stay on the stage for the applause after. Since it will be the end of the show it would be the perfect time to hold up signs. We can all hold up signs that simply say "Thank You". That way we don't have to worry about everyone going out and purchase a light or something they can just make their own poster. Plus people won't get SO pissed since its the end of the show. Quote http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b213/autumnskies00/siggy1-2.jpg

Leenu Posted November 19, 2007 at 06:28 PM Posted November 19, 2007 at 06:28 PM This sounds a great idea, count me in, too!But no photography allowed, gee, that's too bad. Isn't it a sort of must-do thing at an event like this... Though I understand them wanting to drain the production of bootlegs and paparazzi shots... I still don't understand, how in the world some people managed with those AND audio and video recordings Quote - En somme, trois choses demeurent: la foi, l'espérance et l'amour, mais la plus grande d'entre elles, c'est l'amour. -
remykyes Posted November 19, 2007 at 06:47 PM Posted November 19, 2007 at 06:47 PM most likely, it's not about the pictures, it's about the dancers. They could be injured dancing because of the flash photography. Quote New Signature Coming Soon!
Jennifer Posted November 19, 2007 at 07:05 PM Posted November 19, 2007 at 07:05 PM This actually sounds like a FANTASTIC idea! Something simple like "THANK YOU" might be the best. Awesome idea! Quote http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v56/JenniferCeline/nextplaneout3_small.jpg
autumnskies00 Posted November 19, 2007 at 08:19 PM Author Posted November 19, 2007 at 08:19 PM so whos in for thank you signs? because if thats what we want to do we have to spread the word!...in different languages too so we can get all the shows doing it. Cheerfuljane Posted November 19, 2007 at 10:20 PM Posted November 19, 2007 at 10:20 PM I think we need to think about it for a bit longer - try to come up with something more creative I'm all for sticking out like a sore thumb Quote

sangstar Posted November 20, 2007 at 01:16 PM Posted November 20, 2007 at 01:16 PM Ok Im posting off letters today to the Celine Info, Team Celine addresses, and a letter each to both Feelings Productions addresses to see if they can help with the DVD idea, hopefully it will lead somewhere. If theres anywhere else I should send letters please advise friends. Quote
autumnskies00 Posted November 20, 2007 at 06:28 PM Author Posted November 20, 2007 at 06:28 PM I don't think the DVD idea will work out. First of all not every can have access to record( I know I can't). We want thousands of fans to be included in this. Plus they are not allowed in...camcorders are never allowed in concerts. Plus you have to worry about editing and getting it to her. I think what we need to do needs to be simple yet effective. I think it would be a good project on the side if you can get it to work...but I still think we should do some sort of symbol that we hold up during the shows. Salla Posted November 20, 2007 at 09:41 PM Posted November 20, 2007 at 09:41 PM I know I'm being annoying, but I don't really want to do a sign. I don't want to travel with it and I don't want to take all the stuff with me to make it in the hotelroom or whatever, I don't want to worry about it being ruined and where to put it while at the seat or while clapping/dancing/etc. PLUS there's a chance you can't even bring signs into the venue. I'd rather wear those glasses Jane posted. Quote

We should maybe do this bearing in mind we might be the last fans to ever do this for Celine Dion. If this is her last tour, yo, this is it people. autumnskies00 Posted November 21, 2007 at 02:20 AM Author Posted November 21, 2007 at 02:20 AM If we did do the signs..to make it more portable you could write in on a piece of fabric with fabric paint..that way you can fold it up in your purse..woudln't have a problem getting it in and it would be small for travel Quote http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b213/autumnskies00/siggy1-2.jpg

Cheerfuljane Posted November 21, 2007 at 10:28 AM Posted November 21, 2007 at 10:28 AM Thanks. I do try hard I`m with Salla on the whole "no sign" thing. The only signs I do are the rude ones and I wouldn`t do that to Celine Let`s stick with the light-up badges or something.Light them up after each song during the applauses. Seriously, Salla, you have to go in search of the "Glowing Frog" Quote

lyn Posted November 21, 2007 at 01:30 PM Posted November 21, 2007 at 01:30 PM for signs being annoying, we don't have to hold them up the whole timE, though?? the point is just to send her onE message right, so at some point we just hold it up and then bring it down again! the rest of the time we play with our glow things. fa_na_tic Posted November 21, 2007 at 01:57 PM Posted November 21, 2007 at 01:57 PM I really like this idea, but I have no clue as to what we could do. I also agree about the no banner/signs thing (although it would be the best way to get a message through to her), because it's just too annoying to carry them from wherever we are traveling from, and I really don't want to have something like that to worry about during the concert! I'll have enough worries about taking pictures when it's not allowed to. Having something glowing isn't such a bad idea, but we would really have to find some special form because I can imagine loads of glowing stuff being sold at these concert and so if we want to stand out we would really need a glowing frog or a 5 . Or a glowing heart that we could lift up during a certain song. I mean it can't be that big that we would piss off the others behind us. The idea is that it should be: -something small enough to take with us -something that doesn't need TOO much work -something that'll leave our hands free for clapping-something that doesn't block other people's view and get us in a fight. -something that'll DEFINETLY catch her attention Quote http://img384.imageshack.us/img384/7933/celinemunichgifgl6.gif Never forget Munich June 22nd 08 !! lyn Posted November 21, 2007 at 02:49 PM Posted November 21, 2007 at 02:49 PM do they sell.. letters that glow or something? could we make our sign out of glow sticks? like everyone hoist em up in formation. autumnskies00 Posted November 21, 2007 at 04:10 PM Author Posted November 21, 2007 at 04:10 PM Having something glowing isn't such a bad idea, but we would really have to find some special form because I can imagine loads of glowing stuff being sold at these concert and so if we want to stand out we would really need a glowing frog or a 5 Agreed a lot of glowy things get sold at the concert. So if we go with the glowing it has to be something that she'll be like 'oh they planned that' instead of being something that the ushers tell us to do with the merch we bought at the show. I think if we do the light thing we have to all turn it on at the same time. Quote http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b213/autumnskies00/siggy1-2.jpg

I think I also know some kids who may love one or other thing from there - do you know if they ship outside the UK? Yes they do OK - It`s my mission now to find something that we can use I had a look at the site and there are some cool things in there. There's a section called Custom Printing where they say that they can put a logo or a slogan on one of their glowing thingies. That doesn't sound bad.But the problem with this (cause there is always a problem ) is that I have no idea how we can all get the customized object. I don't know if they deliver outside of the UK, and I for instance can't order from them. So, I guess it's back to the drawing board Quote http://img384.imageshack.us/img384/7933/celinemunichgifgl6.gif Never forget Munich June 22nd 08 !! Justin Guitar - the best FREE guitar lessons ever
