So I just thought of this so it might not even be possible but I think it would be cool. For all of us that are going to see her taking chances world tour we should all make some similar sign to hold up. We'd all plan to hold it up at the same time...like when she comes on stage...or sings a certain song. All Celine Dion forum members could do it at whatever show they are going to be at that night so it would be like a unified thing she'd see every night. I don't what the signs could say or how'd we would get them to stand out but that way she could be like 'oh there are my dedicated fans again' haha. I was thinking spelling something out depending on where we are sitting we could figure it out or just everyone have a sign that looks the same...like just a big heart or some kind of design. I don't know... what do you think?

or maybe we can all hold up signs that say thank you during her encore lol idk. but i think it would be cool for her too see that her fans around the world planned something like that

We need to get decent audio recordings of each show, too. We need this to be the best audio documented tour of Celine's career!

This is a great idea. The Gloria Estefan community, Conga, does this quite frequently when going to Gloria shows. During her "Live & ReWrapped Tour" all of the Conga members had a certain type of glowstick to signify that they were Conga members. Gloria even acknowledged them/us.

As for Celine I don't know if glowsticks would be the way to go. I imagine there would be a lot of those already at the venue. Perhaps something to do with frogs or the number 5?

I'm liking this idea.

I could be the first to start the trend in South Africa on 16 February.

Shonah and I will be there.

I'll be at the Durban one with Shirley (Duchess) in the FRONT ROW so she can't miss it.

I think a banner in the front row might be annoying so we could create a shirt design instead

Ideas:

"Here's to Taking Chances"

"We've got our eyes on you"

"Call me 0789..... "

Or we could design a sort of Mascot. Like a cool kinda smiley character.

Please excuse me...I need more coffee.....

That's a cute idea! :D It needs to be something really simple, but then again, something she'll notice. :hmm: also, I think the signs are nice, but I already can imagine people behind me going bananas, cause they can't see. :whistling:

I LOVE this one, although she could freak out seeing this in every country, it sounds almost like a threat, "watch out girl, we've got our eyes on you and we're following every move you make, every wrong note you sing" :mdr: . :mdr: .

the t-shirt idea is nice, buuut I don't think everyone is sitting in the first few rows? so wearing a shirt way back in the last rows wouldn't really catch her attention. lol

ohh, you know those heart brooches that light up or have a flashing light in them? those would probably catch her attention further away as well? :hmm:

Yeah, like "Channel Forum Stalkerazzi are in da house"!

Anyways, I like the idea, especially the lightened hearts or something!! No idea where to get them from but it would be really sweet, noticable and not that annyoing like some big banners! ;)

And don't forget that it may be difficult or even impossible to take big banners/flags into the venues for some sefety reasons!

So something small but with light in it would be great - she'll be able to see it even in hands of people sitting far away from the stage! :D

a frog, or a heart...

maybe someone could design something...

maybe the size of an a4 paper... 20 x 30 cm so we can all print it out at home, put it on paperboard, a stick, so we can hold it up high, and put it away not to disturb anyone whaha...

i like the idea... :D

Also, we need to remember that a lot of us are traveling to see the concerts, so it needs to be something easy to take with us. :thumbsup2:

I'm loving this idea too, especially because the Forum's members are from all over the world! It would also be easy to identify each other while at the concert(s)! Everytime I read a post, I look at the member's name and where they are from. I get such a kick out of reading, "Sweden, Finland, UK, Austria, New Zealand, etc...... the list goes "on and on"! And, Céline made this all possible! So, whatever we decide, I agree it should be relatively small (to travel with and not annoy other fans with). I think it should also be something significant to Céline (as someone mentioned above, the number 5 or a frog). What a GREAT IDEA, Autumn!

I agree that the signs will get the people behind mad cause I know it pisses me off haha. I think a light pin or something is a good idea. It would be more noticeable if we lit them up at the same time during the show instead of having them on the whole time? How do we get them to stand out like its not something everyone can buy at a merch. table?

I can roll with this idea. We do have plenty of time after all :) . Even those lucky people going to SA (yeah I'm looking at you Jane!haha) have until February. Where are all our creative people?! Time to step up, cause I got nothin' left...

I think it should be:

-something small enough to take with us

-something that doesn't need TOO much work

-something that'll leave our hands free for clapping

-something that doesn't block other people's view and get us in a fight.

-something that'll DEFINETLY catch her attention

and I have no idea what it could be. lol

I just made a new topic for this, but ive found this topic npw, heres my idea.

How about for the future tour that come ups, we put together fan video footages to make a Celine Taking Chance Tour DVD from a fans perspective.

Not sure about recording inside the concert because the LV New day shows disallowed recording devices.

What do the rest of you think?

Posted
Its a nice idea, but I doubt they'll allow recording devices inside.

See im not sure. Im thinking they'll allow people to take cameras in for photos, and most digi camera can record video aswell.

Im gonna find out from my uncle at o2.

we need to spread the word! not enough people have replied to get this to work the way it should. :glare:

That sounds like a sweet idea I like it allot you can defiantly count me in for that. I think she would defiantly like that allot from all of us at her different venues in different countries. :thumbsup2:  :w00t:

Im going to write to the people at Celine's Official site and see if there's any restrictions on us recording videos at the concert.

See with making a banner you can block some poor persons view above you by holding it up, with a book or picture album its hard to make sure it reaches Celine. Me and my sis have been Celine fans for the last 13years; we brought special gifts for Celine but its been so hard to pass it on to her, my sis made something she made at school 13years ago, and she's still waiting to give it to Celine.

With a video/DVD its easier to distribute around the Internet and catch Celine, or her surround peoples' attention, and make its way to Celine!

Ok this idea is kinda sinking now, this is the answer i got back from my uncle at o2 about recording devices.

Generally speaking no they are not allowed. They do ask you if you have a camera as you enter and you will get searched as you enter. But most of the time the search isn't that great so people do get away with it - but its at your own risk.

Security also shine a lazer at you if they see you taking flash photography during the event.

Im not really happy with that, because id love to take pics inside its partof the memory, its been allowed at all the other concerts before.

wait what's the problem with banners.. doesn't every live show like Au Coeur Du Stade have people with banners? What if we just lift em up during an applause period?
