Album after 'Taking Chances' and world tour.

Well, I thought about it lot of times.

Do you think that after the album 'Taking Chances' Celine will have another album?

We all know Celine really want to take a rest. To be mother and wife and not be singer for a while...

So do you think that Celine's next album will be really after long time?

What do you think Celine will done after world tour? She will continue to be our Celine or she will gone for some time?

i think she will rest till the end of 2009 or maybe even more. She will sure try to have another baby, then will have some vacation, in the mediterran sea, she will enjoy simple things in life, like taking her child to school and by 2010 she will feel that she can't live without singing. And she'll make another album, or, maybe, she will produce herself in a film about maria callas.

 

What I would like her to do, but know she won't do, is seeing her play piano while she sings her songs, making an album in italian and publishing the (few) songs she's written but never felt like recording.

I guess the scenery after the world tour may be similair as after the Montréal New Year's Eve concert in 1999.

 

But of course, thanks God we're not her managers so we can let us surprise by what's to come!

 

My big dream is to hear her own songs too and to be able to enjoy such kind of her concerts like the "En toute intimité" of Lara Fabian - simply Céline. the piano and maybe a few other instruments here and there but no huge show with dancers, million of lights etc...

It all depends if she's having another baby or not. If she's having one, it could be quite a while I reckon....

If she's not, I believe this is the last time we'll see an album/tour this big.. and she will slow down tremendously and keep things simple/small..

I think it's too early to discuss what she'll be doing after the world tour. I think we should enjoy this new album and tour as Davey and once it's all done we'll see where it takes her. However I don't expect another album or tour for a very long time if we get another tour...

she should not take 2 years off. whats the point of this huge promotion and celine come back (especially if she will win a lot of awards, grammys.... and the album will sell a lot) and later withdraw herself from the public eye. thats bad.

look at j.lo, she's like in the best situation, having kids, promoting a new album and a tour... she will have her babies in couple of months and she wont disappear that long.

 

celine should do the same, maybe after or during touring, she will record a new english album and a french album, during the 1st months of pregnancy, promote both of them... and later have her child.

 

she must not take 2 years hiatus or we will go back to the same status where she was in 2002 with ANDHC... (people will forget her, not the fans, dont get me wrong) and she must put a lot of effort to go back to the charts.... cause music is changing

No, they'll release The Collector's Series: Volume Two. A few new songs, but mostly old ones. Just like in 1999

Céline is great singer but also great mother who really cares for her son and not only for him to be well dressed, healthy and not hungry but also for his stability and psychical comfort so I think if she will have more children, the only way to take really good care of them is when she gets a break like in 2000.

 

I'm mom myself so I know what I'm talking about. Having babies all the time on tour (and tour doesn't only means 2 hours long concert every other day!) is deffinitely not the best for the baby!...

Just have to say that I really disagree.

You know, life is not like that. That's not like- "I'll be pregrancy in this month, So I'll record French album..."...

Celine need to take rest, I think you should got it from the article that posted here today (Under topic "New Article").

2 albums a year, non-stop performances... Don't you think it's crazy?

Celine not born only for us... If you have voice that's not mean that now you need to be a singer.

You should do this from love and not to make yourself a machine..

Seriously, I don't know. All I want is her to be well and happy! And I know she'll need some break for that to happen... So I don't think we'll have an album too soon.. Maybe in 4 or 5 years, but not right after the tour.

 

But let's give time to time and see what happens.

after reading the new article-thread, it seems there must be long break for celine. We all know she will never retire completely, she'a a singer by heart. But I would've preffered her to do a break before TC! She's a workaholic - but that isn't always the best.

 

I'm sure she'll do the tour, maybe release a concert-CD/DVD next year and then say goodbye for a while. I neither expect nor want a new studio album until at least 2010/2011. Maybe it's a good time for the second issue of the Collectors Series in 2008/2009.

 

I want her to be happy - though I really don't expect her to have another child. We know she wants, but there's little chance it'll happen.

Nobody can say for sure.

 

I think after the tour she needs to take a break of about a year to recharge. During that time she can release the live album / dvd of the new tour, perhaps the Collectors Series, v2 to keep the fans happy. Then she can get back to work recording an engish and french album.

 

She doesn't need to tour as heavy as she used to. I think she should just do week-long engagements, for example:

 

Olympia de Paris

Capitol Theatre de Quebec City

Carnegie Hall New York City.

 

Her long touring is what gets her down.

 

She's in her vocal prime to quit recording. But these long, hard tours are killers. If she records and does small engagements, she can keep as normal of a life as any Celine Dion possibly could. At least, more balanced.

I hope she still produces new music, she can take a break, but she can still record new songs once in a while. Like she did with A New Day Has Come and One Heart. She doesn't need to take many years like it's been since Miracle.

I really want her to have another child and I wish she had it:) I believe that after tour she will release tour album (2008), then collector's album (2009) thand then we won't even notice that she is coming back in a year i think late 2010/early 2011. First of all I think that Celine's recorded TAKING CHANCES to come back to Top, so if she disppeared once again all of her work would be just wasted! What would Celine like to rest from? Almost nobody heard a word about Celine during A NEW DAY LIVE IN LV. She musn't come and go, come and go. It's just stupid for me! She's a singer and that's her occupation. Something that brings her money and passion. Why wouldn't she be able to be a mother a long with being a singer?!

 

There are many women in the world who work, have their career and they are the mothers. If Celine will leave us alone once again for a long period, I will be just extremely angry!

having a baby and recording an album has little to do so i don't see why she won't record one after the world tour

she will do a follow up to taking chances, by the same time 2008, so the last leg of the tour would be to promote the new album. It's as if taking chances was falling into you and then by the end of 2008 we get let's talk about love...
