I can't believe that I just read this...I thought this was a joke at first...but obviously not. It makes me very upset that this decision wasn't made sooner. I am only awake right now because I couldn't sleep so I decided to come on the forum. Otherwise, I wouldn't have known about the cancellation until I was ready to leave in the morning. I'm sorry that Celine is still sick, but she shouldn't have done the Ottawa show if she wasn't 100% yet. I know she hates to cancel, but she should have known sooner that she wouldn't be able to do the show. Who knows if Becca and I will get our hotel money back...and the timing is crappy of the rescheduled show December 21, 4 days before Christmas? And surprise surprise, celinedion.com STILL has yet to post this info. I just feel so bad for celinevegas who was coming all the way from france. Ahhhhhhh...I'm so aggravated....I just need to vent...I still love Celine of course and want her to rest her voice and get completely better...this was just such a shock!

Aww, Steph. She's the first person I thought of when I heard, all the way from France. Thanks for the text, Sarah. I didn't get it until I woke up today.

 

I am already here, but since we're leaving early we got a refund on tomorrow night's hotel. I hope I can make the new date.

Maybe you can exchange your Indy tickets for tickets for another Céline concert in the near future, @celbabs!

I'm not sure I'll be able to make the new date either -- and I have been looking forward to seeing her in my home state for over a year! Not only is it so close to Christmas, my dad doesn't have that week off of work, weather is usually horrible... anyone want to carpool? If I don't make it though - I have already been so blessed as far as Céline experiences, I have no right to complain.

 

I'm worried about Céline. I hope she takes all the time she needs to get better, so she doesn't push herself too much, too soon.

Woww, there's no words to say how sad i am for my dear friend Stephanie who came from France to see that show..

I guess Celine didn't want to disappoint her Canadian fans, i have so much respect for that, never she will forget where she came from, but at the same time, everybody deserve their concert..

But as you can see, never you would know she was sick in Ottawa, the way she hits the high notes were incredible!!

Well, i guess i was pretty lucky to don't have my show postpone!

 

Take care Celine! I hope that the Ottawa concert didn't make this thing worst than it was..

I'm getting scared guys...I'm going to Kansas City on Friday....I hope Celine is better by Saturday. I sent her a get well card last week, who knows if she got it. I don't want her to get worse by doing my show, but I will be disappointed if I don't get to see her (not in her, but in the situation because I spent a lot of money to fly to Kansas City). Sorry to everyone who was going to go to Indy last night! I can see why she would late till the last minute to announce it....just in case she's still able to perform, but that is frustrating. She's doing too many shows. TeamCeline needs to announce this stuff FIRST!

I cant believe this guys! I got on yesterday to wish you all some fun and found out! i am so sorry! this really worries me about Celine. I really kind of wish that she would just go ahead and reschedule the next 4 shows so she can make SURE she recovers fully and that way people can go ahead and start making plans.. EVEN if she recovers earlier than those 4 shows, she'll have time to MAKE sure its out of her system! I KNOW that she's postponing them one by one because it kills her to do it and she hopes and probably makes herself think she can make it to the next one, then the time comes and Doctors say its best not to yet. She's always been the driven one.. But now is the time to understand that its time to take a break! I'm sad she won't enjoy her anniversary! AND not very much of a christmas vaca! And now with all these shows being postponed and bunched together, she's going to have to be at the top of her game to get through them all... whew.. This is stressful! I'm sorry you guys.. Everything happens for a reason. I know it sucks but maybe something good will come out of it..

Maybe I'm not meant to be there... but I'm still hopeful. It's more than a month from now. Fingers crossed.

 

I don't expect her to perform the rest of the week... it doesn't sound good. She's never been sick this long before. I think forcing her voice out during the shows in Canada made it worse. I'm worried about her. Everyone send good thoughts to her. If she has to keep postponing... there will be no dates free for her to reschedule!

I am praying Céline is feeling better soon! It's disappointing to have a show reschedule, but Céline's health is more important! I'm fortunate that I have family in Indianapolis so I visited with them more since the show was rescheduled to 12/21/08. Maybe Céline will add a Christmas song to the show

Ooooh, I hope Céline adds the french and Christmas songs to the Indy concert! I missed both of them in Chicago! I imagine since she started the Chicago show late to allow travelers extra time to get there through the snow/heavy traffic, the show had to be shortened. One of the ushers told us Céline was holding the show up but couldn't go past a certain time because they had travel commitments. Dang yucky weather!

My friend is unable to attend the show with me tomorrow, so I am wondering if anybody would be interested in her ticket? It's 3RD ROW F1 (the area where Celine should walk out at the end). Well, I managed to work it out! I was to fly out of Indy back home to NYC tomorrow (my show closes tonight); however, there is a travel and weather advisory in Philadelphia (which was the first leg of my flight tomorrow) and so it's free to change the flight. So I am now flying out Monday morning and seeing Celine perform tomorrow night! yea!!!!!!

24 hours from now I'll be sitting in the 6th row watching Celine! I saw her show in Chicago on Tuesday. The show didn't start until 9:15 p.m. and finished around 10:45, maybe earlier. She cut out about four songs or so. I was so far away that she looked like a Barbie doll too me. For me, tomorrow is the real day. Chicago just seemed like such as mess for everyone. I loved seeing her perform, she was beautiful, flawless and rushed!!! The show said sold out but at least a 1/4 of the seats were empty. It was such a shame. She gave her heart and soul to the city though. The ticket for Indianapolis was the first and only ticket I thought I would ever get. I saved ALL summer to get this 6th row VIP seat. When on my way to Indy on November 9th and hearing that the show was canceled, I was devestated. I thought I would never see her. Then out of nowhere, some people I work for gave me two tickets to the Chicago show for Dec. 21st. I couldn't believe it. Then the chaos of that day, so many unfortunate people who didn't get to make it. Celine waited so long to make soo many people happy and then had to cut it short for all of us that had made it. I think a lot of people who finally made it to Chicago are going to Indy. Hopefully the weather will be on our side. I know Celine is. I read that someone says she's exiting on F1 side. I have F7 tickets. Is F1 a fact? Anyway, just knowing I don't have to watch a video screen all the time to see her is a relief. This time Celine the audience is on your side, unlike Chicago, we will dance, sing with you and show some enthusiasm. That was something the Chicago crowd could not seem to do.

I'm pretty sure it is. I was in LA, Floor 1 (sadly I had the aisle seat towards the middle so I was nowhere near her when she exited, but I may or may not have accidentally pushed people over to get to her lol) and that was where she exited.

Made it to Indy! Only 8 more hours until she hits the stage. I'm four blocks away from Conseco. Does anyone know when she shows up there for soundcheck, makeup etc.. I'm soooo close, why not try. Anyone know what hotel she's staying at? Is there a Ritz here in Indy? Really wish you could be here Ashley. Can't wait Time seems to be crawling... Maybe it's time to do a little shopping. Let's show Celine some real fan enthusiasm tonight!! Maybe we will get that X-mas song. This is her last concert of the year.

She is not staying at a hotel in Indy. Right now she is still in Chicago and will be arrive at the arena around 5:30(EDT). She will fly out after the show so your best shot is trying to wait for her car at a service entrance at Conseco.
