Was finding it kinda weird that she would fly back to NY. She will also be pretaping the view I assume as Fridays are usually repeates and she is scheduled for Friday 23 NOV.

Hey Everyone!

So I just got back to work after going to the taping of the Tree Lighting Special at the Rainbow Room!

I was able to go, with many thanks to celinenvegas (Joey)

So we were all shuffled in at about 8:45am and we were brought into this gorgeous room filled with Christmas Trees, candles, and little tables that two people each sat at. We waited...and waited. And then finally at 10:30 Celine walked in! She looked so beautiful. She had on a knee length beige and gray strapless dress and black pumps, he hair was down and flowing with nice natural looking makeup. She loved all of us and was joking with the crowd saying that she`s not used to get up early and that its so early for her that she could have a glass of champagne now She said that she was just at the Today Show and me and the others called out "we were there!" and she looked at me and started to sing "here there, everywhere" lol. Then she started off with the first song, 'The Christmas Song' (lipped unfortunately, but I could kind of hear her singing over the recording). Then she went right into 'Alone' (lipped also). And they stopped taping and she joked with the audience some more. She was in a great mood! Then they asked her to re-do those again and she said "Well I guess I have to do them again" and not meaning to be as loud as I was I said "What a shame ha ha" and she started singing "Shame, Shame" lol. Too funny. So she went through that again and then she sang 'Taking Chances' (lipped) and she was really into it! She was really moving along with the song and everything. She was actually really into all three songs, much better then some of the performances that we`ve seen lately. They did another take of that song and then she did some interviews with stations I didn`t recognize. She thanked us all for being such a great audience and then made her way out and she was standing right next to me (her back to me for a moment) and I was like but she got shuffled away too fast before I could ask for an autograph. Overall it was an AMAZING experience and I will never forget it! She may have lipped but I really think you guys will like the performance a lot. It was really beautiful

There might have been a couple more than 60 because I know some people that got in on stand by. Other than that it was pretty intimate. I really felt like I was having a cocktail at a lounge and Celine was the entertainment for the night

Celine looked amazing today...sadly I can't say she sounded amazing because it was playback. I was very disappointed about that but she goofed around singing some songs and her voice sounded great so I don't get it. It was great to get that up close and personal with her though. AMAZING EXPERIENCE. It was also fun to meet some fans from the forums. Anyone with pictures from today please post post post!! I will post mine later on.

She taped it today at the rainbow room it will air on the night of the christmas tree lighting..was able to be there and see her..just want to say that all the celine fans that were there were great and i really enjoyed it
