I was just given 2 $125.00 seats to Celine's concert in Chicago on November 4, 2008. I would love to me some other Celine fans! This will be my first time seeing her live. This will be the night of my life!!! I was given these tickets by a friend of mine and plan to take my 12 year old daughter. I would love to meet up with any Celine dion fans!! I don't know where I will be staying yet but I will be there. I live in Culver, IN. I also have VIP tickets to her show in Indianapolis on the 9th. Anyone going? Does anyone know what VIP tickets intail? I paid over $500.00 for this ticket and want to make the most of the night. I catch up with youtube daily for Celine news. To meet her would be one of the best moments in my life. Does she go to the VIP rooms?

Chicago isn't THAT far from me, and I want to go again so badly before the 17th of Nov! But finding a good seat at a decent price is going to be dificil.

I really want to go to Chicago, but my parents won't let me go alone, nor with a friend Although, I do not understand, she let my sister go with many friends to a Dave Matthews concert in Wilmont - and we all know what they do there..... . But anyway, I was curious if anyone lived near Libertyville/Gurnee and is going to the concert, I think my parents would allow me if I attended with a responsible adult. Of course, we would have different seats, I haven't bought any yet, but getting to and from the concert in Chicago when I "have know I idea where I am going", safely I think is an issue for my mother. If anyone would like to work something out and help a fellow Celine fan, I will happily pay 1/2 the transportation etc. I guess you can just let me know by PM or something, not a big deal. Thanks a lot!!!

My parents already went and are Celine Dioned out! I was going to take the train down to Union Station, but my mom doesn't want me walking or taking a cab to the United Center since I have "no idea where I am going." Also, I would have to drive back from the train station, and it would be after legal curfew (spelling?!?)

Hop onto the blue line from Union Station to the United Center, and make your parents pick you up from the metra station. I suppose they won't pick you up that late...

I think the only thing that will work is if somebody takes me along, just the way my parents like to do things. I'm sure they don't want to pick me up at 1:00am on a weeknight... we got home even later on the 29th from Milwaukee which is closer than the United Center.

Okay, I doubt this was a preminition of any kind, but I figured I'd post it here. A few nights back I had a dream where I saw that Celine had canceled her Chicago show, plus two other shows either before, after, or before and after the Chicago show. I thought it was VERY odd considering I'm not even going to any of the shows around this timeframe.

Only a little over two weeks away...can't wait! I see that many of us are in section 2 for the concert. We have stick together and make sure that we are the loudest section cheering on Celine, since it appears that the majority of the crowds at other venues are old fuddy duddies....it's a concert and you are there to have fun. I know that I plan on it.

I'm going to see Celine in Chicago and I can't wait!!!! Im sitting in section 106 row L seats 1 and 2. I'm surprising my mom. I'm telling her that I'm just taking her out to dinner. She likes Celine and she's never seen her before, but I just really want to share the experience of Celine with my mom. I've seen Celine in Columbus and Cleveland and I went by myself. SO i'm just sooo excited. I wish I could have gotten better seats, but this was the best I could do. I just cant wait to see Celine again.

She's my angel.

Tough competition:-) Tina Turner was here couple of weeks ago, Madonna was just here last night and Celine's show is on the night of the Election. It will be a fantastic show but it might not get all the deserved attention.

UGH I know, it sucks!!! It seems like the crowds are so enthusiastic and crazy in Europe, and then here everyone gives you dirty looks if you scream even once. oh, what I wouldnt give to be in a crowd of enthusiastic Celine fans!!

 

When I was at the Milwaukee show I was sitting next to my friend (who's not really a big Celine fan but she came with me, bless her soul!) and this old guy who kept on giving me REALLY dirty looks cuz I kept on yelling. and there was one guy behind me (he wasn't even directly behind me, he was over a section and back a few rows) kept on yelling every time I stood up! wtf, CELINE EFFING DION is in front of me... what do you expect me to do?! *shakes fist angrily*

No, I have a sister, and she is coming home a day after the concert for vacation from college...... They would probably let me go if I went with her. It turns out my only hope - sending cash or a check in the mail to the guy to buy his ticket - wants to sell both together, understandable but ARGH! The United Center can only preorder tickets on a credit card and I will NOT use my parent's credit card.
