A World To Believe In (in duet with Yuna Ito) is the second single in Japan

Finally got my copy today

the so called U.S.A. mix is the duet with Celine's album-arrangement of the song. Yuna's and the instrumental version are both the Duet-arrangement!

I like the solo version more than this but it's still a beautiful song!

I looove that song! Lucky Yuna;)

Wonder if it will get to #1?

So suddenly, it's clear to me

Things change

Our future lies in here and now

We live it through somehow

Now the greatest reward

Is the love that I can give

I'm here for you now

For as long as I live

You made me who I am

I really like this japanese girl's voice. The two of them sound great together. I feel Celine sings too little in the duet, giving too much relevance to Yuna's performance. But, then again, it's for the Japanese market, so it makes total sense

I suppose she sings more because then its easier for her to perform it by herself when celine cant!!

she has a cute voice!!!

well after listen to it many times... it doesn't seem to be a duet...

and they should let celine sing more... maybe like in japanese...

but i guess they just use the album version's voice...

Courage don't you dare fail me now!

"A World to Believe In" debuted at #8 on the Oricon Weeekly Singles Chart with 11,778 copies sold. (#6 is peak position on daily chart). "My Heart Will Go On" was Celine's last song on that chart.

Plus, "A World to Believe In" will be included on Yuna Ito upcoming album, to be released on February 20, 2008. So I don't think this sigle will help Celine's album.

I'm sure a few of you might be curious about this so...

Studioseven Recordings?

It's a sub-label of Sony Music Japan.

Its first major release was Yuna Ito's debut album "Heart," which sold 200,000 copies during its first week!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Studioseven_Recordings

So, the release of this single under this label makes sense! :)

I"m glad they showed respect for Celine and placed her name before Yuna's. Normally, the host record company would place their artist first. I'm fully aware that this is still, technically, Sony. However, this record lable is a separate entity. (Now here's a story: For example, Jive Records placed R. Kelly's name before Celine's for "I'm Your Angel" in America, but internationally, Sony took hold of the "I'm Your Angel" single releases, and placed Celine's name first.)

I finally just ordered my copy of this single. I can honestly say I really like the duet version better then the orginal. I like songs that mix languages together. It makes things interesting. I think that Yuna girl is a very good singer and I wanted to get her albums and singles as well but there so expensive to buy here in the states. :ermm:

I think this song needs to be one of the singles in North America from "Taking Chances." It could do very well on adult contemporary.

I don´t like that girl singing with Celine... but... it´s good to see Celine in a music video... Wish she could be alone singing that... pity... :(

i looooove what Celine said in the end. "Hait!" :lmao: ooo Yuna's English is goooood

Yuna is part-American (she was born and raised in Hawaii). No wonder she speaks fluent English and Japanese.
