This is gonna be a huge hit for Celine in Japan. Japanese people have embraced big Celine ballads in the past like "To Love You More" and "Be The Man," so this is the perfect choice for her in that country. And Yuna-Ito sings amazingly on it. Well-done!!

I truly don't want this song to be the next single around the world....but the duet sounds just amazing!!! It takes me back to "Be the Man" when Celine did the alternate version in Japanese .... and as i can hear there are also parts in these one

 

so.....WHO CARES!!! IT"S A NEW SONG!!!! and it sound brilliant ...it would be amazing if Celine uses the Nelly Furtado strategy releasing a ton of songs in different versions...

I absolutely ADORE this song! Its too anthemic to release in the US as a single 'cause it sounds like old Celine (which I dont mind, but it doesnt fit with the whole idea of her Taking Chances)

It doesnt look like they are actually RECORDING the song together, just miming for the video. I have a feeling this is gonna be FANTASTIC!! Especially if Celine really did re-record the song and not just insert Yuna's voice into the existing track!!

 

Celine's japanese version of 'Be The Man' is one of my all time favorites!!
