Other Albums Out Nov 12th Uk.......

So Celine's Album is out November 12th in the Uk!!

 

I know every celine fan is wanting this album to be her biggest ever!!

And the clips from the album that we have heard are shaping up to be some of her best material!!

But are the chances of her having a number #1 album realistic??

 

So here is a list of Albums that are out on the same day all together there are 37 albums out on the same day

but i have only included the albums that actually have a chance of making Number 1!

Leona Lewis - Spirit (Debut Album from last years X FACTOR winner)

Spice Girls - Greatest Hits (Their Comeback album also includes new tracks including "Headlines")

 

 

 

So there is her biggest competition for the number one spot

my view is that her biggest rivals would be The Spice Girls + Leona Lewis!!

for all that i love celine and hope she gets a number 1 album... it is quite unlikey especially with the spice girls and leona lewis releasin the same week. leona had the biggest selling single of the year.. beating take that and outselling all the other top 5 put together last week.....i personally think its a bad week for her release but that is only my opinion.

That's the most unacceptable thing I think- she's not even on that list- we need to start a campaign for Sony to actually take note and do summit about this. They have let Celine down. She came over here and recorded for 4 different TV shows and they go and pull her single- and still fail to recognise her on their site, whilst she's in th emiddle of her 'comeback blitz'.

leona has alot of talent listening to her live lounge on radio one last night....my word...she is something else........she is a new version of celine in my eyes....i think people only compare her to whiteny caus eof skin colour....and mariah cause of her attitude as such...but she is better then those two put together....so the next level is celine...and sorry to say it...she is better than celine......i hate to say it...i love celine more...but leona is new....something different...celine has been with us for 18 years nearly now....look at all the other oldies...diana..tina...cher...whitney....britney ahahahahahahahahaha they cant do much damage to the charts now just to listners ear drums! celine is trying but its going to be tough...ill be shocked to see her make the top 5 to be honest...the album is just not getting promoted enough...i bet the album gets pushed back! no lie i bet it does!!!!!! till december if not next year!

I dont see how anyone can compare Leona to celine as yet. Yeah she has an incredible voice but so does Celine. Celine has a much more interesting voice and its more edgy - all Leona has is a big soul voice. She has little personality and hardly any stage presence. She is pretty but not stunning or unique like Celine. The reason people like Celine because she has that accent to her voice and great amazingness and such a variety of textures and sounds which makes her like no one else. Leona will never sell (not that anyone can) what Celine has.

 

Celine was not that bad on X factor - I think its just a case of getting used to TC sung live. Only one bit was bad and there were sound problems her diction was amazing and the words were crystal clear and her voice was full and strong. If you gave Leona TC to sing then we can compare. Does anyone forget the Oscars performance or Elvis or all of what Celine has done in the past and remember she has been around for 26years.

 

I'll tell you another thing for anyone who hasnt seen Celine in real life - SHE LOOKS LIKE A GODDESS. I was at the taping of An Audience With Celine and I watched all the celebs walk by - they all just look like anyone you would see on a Saturday Night - Celine looks AMAZING!! If you had seen her on stage, lipping or not she looks stunning and 1000 times sexier and more exciting that Leona. All Leona has is an amazing voice - that I do really like. However, where it goes from there...give her some time but no one can say she is better until she proves herself. Celine has already proven herself and it took years.

but let me point one thing out.....and no im not dissing celine or anything just pointing it out...

compare x factor performances...leona hit her notes....did celine NO she struggled!!! thats why she was very stiff in her performance!!!!! but celine is still celine...with all that she has done.....but ther eis no one around that can sing like leona at the moment...!

Of course Leona has an amazing voice but to me its not interesting enough. Celine was classical on both the oscars and Elvis. She is different to how she used to be but she is still very very capable I think she just doesn't anymore. Leona is proving herself right now. Maybe Its because I prefer edgier voices rather than round soulful voices, I like Tina Arena, Shania, Lara all over Leona who reminds me more of Mariah, Whitney so I guess its just personal.

 

Leona is everywhere right now so she will prob get number 1

Wow. I didn't know Celine will have a tough competition. Too bad I won't be in UK to witness the chart but I'm returning to Uk a week after 12th (19th) so hopefully I shall see some #1 spot album of the week in HMV or Virgin music and hopefully it's Celine! Well at least we can see some great albums coming up in 2 weeks time. Wow I didn't know Spice girls release their album the same day as Celine does. Well, I love Celine, spice girls and leona. Mm, wonder who to choose? Spice might stand a chance to get the #1 spot as they are releasing the greatest hits! And I believe Leona is releasing her debut album? Wow, tough competition. I heard Leona's first single was a big success but we never know. Let's say this, not many people have heard of Leona Lewis (well unless u watch x-factor or read the news) but I'm pretty sure people know who Celine is (My Heart Will Go On from titanic) and because celine has been in the entertainment business for almost 23 years now. Well that's just my opinion but I guess Celine will be on Top 3. #1 preferably. But I won't say anything much if it lands at #2 or #3.

Spice Girls may not be a competitor for Celine. I was on HMV website and on the TOP 10 pop albums, Spice Girls' album is on #10 and celine's at #6. #2 is Westlife but they release their album on 5th Nob. #3 is VA but the album is release a week later. #4 n #5 are Kylie's album and she only releases the album on the 26th Nov. So really on the 12th Nov, the biggest selling would be Leona and Celine.

I think it'd be totally unfair to compare Leona Lewis to Celine Dion, for many reasons.

 

1. Celine's voice was unbeatable when she was Leona's age. She's 39 and still sounds amazing!

 

2. Leona did not spend the last 5 years using her voice for 2 hours 5 nights a week.

 

3. Celine is a household name that did not stop shining for the past 25 years. Leona is still a toddler.

 

4. As Celine herself always said "The voice on its own is never enough." We'll see what Leona has in the guts.

 

5. There are much more chances for an Anglophone singer to break through than a Francophone. Do not forget that no other French-speaking artist has enjoyed the same success as Celine does.

 

6. Having a number 1 album doesn't guarantee big album sales. Falling Into You is the best example.

 

7. What matters is that Celine is back in the public eye - especially in the UK. Give it time
