I was planning on going to Amsterdam, but then my health started caving on me and the doctor bills are insane and yeah, that's where all the money I had saved for Céline has gone. And, no, we're only gonna be in Stockholm and possibly Paris at the same time with Anu. I'm going to Stockholm and Copenhagen for sure and if I have money then Paris on the 24th.

By the way, do you guys think the seating plan in Amsterdam will be like on the pic someone posted here earlier??

 

I mean, it looks like stage were pretty small in Amsterdam and the A and B section blocks are settled in circle - I haven't seen something like this for any other venue I've seen the plan for!

 

Of course it would be great because than all A and B section blocks would offer great view and there wouldn't be any "blocks in the corner" but I'm just very curious now...

 

I haven't found any seating plan for Céline concert on TicketService page!...

 

But oh well, I already stated officially that I hate ticketservice!

Thank you Mathias, these are the sitting plans I've been talking about, I've seen them before already.

 

But what I wanted to say, there is no sitting plan shown when you buy tickets off ticketservice, not speaking about TeamCeline...

 

And the two plans we've seen and which you posted now - they are a bit different too - one of them shows a stage with catwalks and the other shows a round stage without catwalks.

 

I know it's not a big diffrence but still... And I think it's really unfair there is no official plan at ticketservice site - or I'm too blind to find it...

LOL! The 2nd one is from the Ticketservice site..

And not every site has a total accurate pic of the stage set-up, but the one with the catwalks is the probably the most accurate you can get (till we'll have an official photo of the stage next year)..

How big is this ArenA?? If I remember well, I read somewhere it's for about 80 000 people?? So it's huge - if it will be full, I can imagine the bombastic atmosphere!!

Céline still hold the record of the largest indoor concert (since 1999) here: 61.083 attendants..

 

According to the site, that with an "in-the-round" set-up, the stadium has a maximum capacity of 68.000 seats!

Yes that's what I thought too....but the Arena site says otherwise..

 

Though with a standing only on the field and a stage set up at the end, all the seats behind the stage won't be used..

I estimate that capacity in the 2008 set up will be around 60.000

 

There's only Cat. 4 tickets left....I think she sold between 40.000 en 45.000 already...

I'm afraid that a big percentage of these "sold" tickets are in the hands of scalpers so they are still waiting for their regular owner - just look at Livenation/Viagogo site...

 

Let's hope they'll slow down later with those insane pricas and these tickets will go to true fans for reasonable price!

Well, if you are not looking for 5***** hotel but just for a simple and safe place to sleep - I would reccomend hostels!

 

You can find houndreds of hostels in almost every bigger city in the world - you can search at www.hostels.com or other site about hostels.

 

I already booked my hostel in Antwerp and Berlin and it just a bit more than 20 euros per person per night - I think the only cheaper possibility would be go sleep in own car or in a tent!

 

And hostels are open for everyone, not only for youth people under 26 - I'm 28 now and it's no problem at all.

Yep, I saw that too. So that's where part of the first category tickets went... I think it's ridiculous. I keep saying this but a specal event like being at a soundcheck should be for true fans, not the people who happen to have a lot of money. Why not have a contest for each country, pick 100 winners and let them attend the soundcheck? It seems like it's all about money, money, money...

I don't know about Céline's soundcheck but I read the review from someone who attended Justin Timberlake's soundcheck and it really was like 10 minutes!...

 

Actually I don't really think the soundcheck for her needs to be longer anyway. The soundcheck is for the technicians to set up the light and the sound correctly for each intrument and of course for the singer. So the singer needs to sing like 1, 2 maybe 3 song pieces and the technicians will already have the clue how to set up the sound for a particular singers in a particular venue.

And as they are all professionals, I'm sure they don't need more time.

 

I heard Lionel Richie soundcheck (I've been outside the hall waiting for the concert though but I heard him) and it wasn't really long either... He sung 2-3 short pieces of his songs and that was it....

It's very possible that they will have a contest in which you can win a M&G or attend a soundcheck for the tour, depends on the management.

 

That was one thing Shania's fanclub (also with MusicToday) did right during her tour. For the 1st (North-American) leg, you could win a M&G with Shania. After that they changed it into a soundcheck attendance (I won for the last gig in Europe, in Belgium), so I hope they will do this for Céline too..

Actually mine was cancelled because Shania got ill not long before that..

But I still managed to attend and watch the band members do the soundcheck.

 

Before that, the length was different each time and it's up to the artist if they want to sign autographs, say "hi".

 

You were supposed send a mail to a specific e-mail addy in which you had to write which concert you would be attending (if you were going to attend more, you had to sent one for each gig). And sometime later that posted the winners for each show..
