Last week I bought my train tickets as I wanted to catch the bergain and I did - I paid only 60 euros for a retour ticket from my place and back!

I'll arrive at Amsterdam on 13:25 - can I count on someone to pick me up at the railway station?? I really don't know the city and it would be real fun to catch up with Céline fans right after the arrival!!

I live in a small town near Rotterdam, in the south-west of Holland. Amsterdam is about 1 hour drive for me, that is as there are no traffic-jams. And I do expect traffic jams, at least it was a chaos in 1997 and 1999 when Céline was having a concert. They even said it on the radio: Due to the Céline Dion-concert in the Arena there are problems with the traffic around Amsterdam! :laugh:

There for I guess we will be going to Amsterdam in the morning, we will park our car near the Arena (it's expensive, but worth it because it will be easier to go home at night after the concert) and go to Amsterdam-city from there. I guess it won't be a problem to pick you up over there. Will you be staying in a hotel? And where are you sitting in the Arena?

Hi Laura, that must have been cool to hear such traffic news in 1997, haha! :lol: But of course not too funny for all the car drivers...

Anyways, I have some friends in Emmeloord (they are not Céline fans though) and daughter of one of them lives in Amsterdam and she offered me shalter after the concert so I can sleep at her place and will take a train back at 8 a.m. next day. I have no idea where in Amsterdam this daughter of my friend lives as actually I never met her but I trust my friend, hehe! So I don't need a hotel.

How big was the concert in 1997? I mean, approx. how many people were there in the audience?

The concert of 1997 was not as big as the one in 1999. Because in 1997 they had the stage on one side of the Arena, so it was not completely filled. In 1999 they had the in the round stage and it was full. I think she set a record at that moment with approx 65.000 or 66.000 people, it was something like that. Correct me if I am wrong, other fans from Holland! But if I remeber well, they did have standing-places at that time and this year only seats. So I guess it will be a little less this time!

Thats great that you can stay with a friend (correction: the daughter of a friend)!

Yep, from the Central Station there are various ways to go to the Arena. For instance you can go by train or by subway. In both ways it will probably take you about 15 minutes, I think!

It will be my first concert in the Amsterdam Arena but I keep hearing stories about the sound! I hope it won't be so bad :crazy:

Sorry,I'm Spanish...and so I don't have any idea of which song should she sing in dutch... :shrug: ...but I'd love she'll sang at least a part of a song in dutch...the crowd is gonna go nuts!!!! ^_^ :thumbsup2:

The only song I really hope she she'll sing it's ANDHC (Radio remix)...in fact this is my favourite Celine song,and it has been my very favourite through 2 years and a half :wub: ...my own record! :lmao:

By the way...do you think the setlist will be a bit shorter than in the other concerts?...I mean...this is the second cheapest concert (concerning to tickets) in Europe...so will it be a little bit shorter? I hope not,of course.... ^_^

And TT...Oh,please,include TT on the list...if she includes those two songs I'll be happy for the rest of my life and I could rest in peace the day when I die.* :innocent:
