I did the same thing, too... though I think I was listening to the album like this: Taking Chances - SKIP [i had heard it enough by the time the whole album came out] LOLAloneEyes On MeMy Love - SKIP [i loved EOM and SOL so much that I had to skip it back then... now I love it.]Shadow of LoveSurprise Surprise Then I would go back to "Alone" and start my cycle over again. It's so incredibly young and it's like a breath of fresh air. Celine sings it wonderfully, and this song is just destined to become a huge Top 10 hit. It could've been a huge hit in England with a proper music video, but Sony basically just released it there and totally forgot about it. If they could just make a hip music video(I posted an idea for an EOM music video a while back), and released it worldwide, it'd do well. Celine could go on a few talk shows, maybe. I know she's busy with the tour, but she can do a couple of short 5-10 minute interviews on some talk shows in Europe/North America. If that could be done, Eyes On Me could be an amazing success. It deserves to be the next single, because it could truly show the world that Celine does more than big love ballads(Fade Away could do this, too). Sorry if I rambled on a bit. You took the words right out of my mouth. If released here in the states it would go to the top 10 immedietely and restore Celine's name to people that just remember her as the singer that "sang the Titanic song." IMO this is the best song on the album followed by fade away. If it gets released as a single it NEEDs a video and promotion. C'mon sony, it is so obvious you don't care about celine. Rene better be looking to switch to another company, JIVE anyone?. Quote

I have never been a fan of EOM either. I kind of have a sense that it's not finished. The end lacks the power and the oriental feeling that is at the beginning. And it doesn't fit on TC. Quote

You can't sing a latin/salsa song with a key like that. It needs to be in a lower key with uptempo vocals and neither of those were present in the song. If it had had big promotion, a sexy video or something, it would been (in my opinion) a big hit for Celine! The young people would love this song, 'cause it's great! In my class I showed this song to my classmates (they don't like Celine...I don't understand them WHY?? ) and they liked it! Some of them wanted to listen to it on his/her iPod and I sent them the song by using a chatting programme! They listen it very often! So I think it would be a big and succesful hit!
