It's gonna be one of those good ol' Celine songs. Will have to listen to the full version to say whether like it or not. But from what I've heard, its one more of those Celine songs.

 

I dont think it would be a good addition to an album where she's taking chances. But its good to have some sappy songs for overtly romantics guys like me

From all 16 songs I heard the 30 second clips "A world to believe in" is the one I am looking forward to hear the most. Simply because that song represents the "old" Celine and the kind of songs I love to hear. Of course I have to wait until I hear the whole song to decide whether AWTB is good or not, but right now it is the only old style ballad on the album and therefore it has to be

but anyhow...do you know what "MORE often" means? obviously i'd like MORE than 1 song on each album

I love the new song it is so awesome...She can do anything,sing anything, she is so amazing.

She should so do a movie.

It's Ok... but really doesn't fit in with the theme of a "New Céline".

 

The only thing I really liked about it was from the Sessions Video when the engineer told her to "turn it off".

But this dont has to be a "New Celine", this album is about "taking chances", she will be always Celine, so is not that bad that she includes one o meaby more songs where people can see the "classic Celine".

i am totally agree with you,i think seprating celine to new celine and old celine is totally wrong.she is the same person but she is showing us her other sides.it doesn't mean the celine that we knew is gone.if she was gone i would sespect if she was believe in what she sang years before?

I found it utterly repulsive ever since I first heard it on the recording session, thought it was a joke.

 

This track would be laughed at even during the oh so sappy days of the mid-90ies, when people were greeting horribly shallow and sappy ballads like elefants rolling aroung in the mud.

 

Sure I can very well find it really nice to listen to Bryan Adams's Heaven and Whitney's version of I Will Always Love You, but I had to draw the line of soulless love declarations somewhere during Because You Loved Me. The word "love" must be the most abused word in English and it should be a crime to use a word of that importance to the extent of that it becomes shallow and non-expressive. The same case with cheap paraphrases such as "you gave me a world to believe in".

 

Abuse such as this, is a crime against the arts and against love itself, and should not be praised.

oh my god your hatred is so strong for this song.i can't judge the lyrics cos i haven't heard the whole song.and what i love in it is voice and music.

i think you want too say "you give me a world to belive in " is something fake .but i think when you are up and you fall in love with someone you don't say to him/her you give me a worl to believe in or I can be strong once again.i believe a love like a love in this song happen when you are so down and dissapointed & youfall in love with a person who has a lot energy and good attitude and he can chang your mind and make you love life.
