Is it just me or were most of the acts not live?

 

I dont think Leona was live or Alicia even though she had monitors and played piano. The only songs that sounded live to me were Chaka Khan Aint Nobody and Jlo. I think its because they want the songs to sound perfect like the original. With Aint Nobody it didnt matter cos it was the finale and everyone knows it.

I doubt many of them where live, but whatever, Celine looked stunning and they all did it for a good cause, I really admire them all for doing it.

I totally agree.. i dont think celine was the only one not to sing live.. i think girls allowed did their song sounded awful i thought and so did chaka khan but apart from that celine, leona and modt others seemed to be playback..however it doenst really bother me if she did or didnt, the majority of uk tv wont no the difference and she is back on uk tv which is fantastic and her overall performance rocked.. for all that leona has a good voice her presence on staage is just ugly and awkward.

It was a rubbish show to be honest. It should have been a concert like the VH1 Divas show with loads of people there, all the acts singing together, everyone singing live etc. I mean, the stage was tiny, people were allowed to sing playback, J-Lo wasn't even in the studio, they never sang anything together which was a total waste of a good opportunity and let's face it the selection of Divas was rubbish. Yeah overall a very disappointing show, not quite sure what the point of it was to be honest. ITV1 could've put on a legendary show with the people they had booked for this but sadly it all fell a bit flat and by the end I was completely disinterested.

 

As for Celine, yes she looked good and the "performance" was good, but for me, there's no excuses she should've been singing live. I don't care if I'm about to get bashed for saying it but she's a professional singer and lately she's being struggling live. She needs to get it sorted, and quickly. Her lip synching was embarrassing.

Leona's performance was amazing, she is very talented!

 

I thought it would be much more like VH1 Divas, but hmm- was nothing like it.

I can't believe noone sang together when they had Jennifer lopez, CELINE DION, Chaka Khan, Alicia Keys <-- They are all worldwide stars!! ITV could have made it go down in history! except it went down more like the titanic.... ahhhhhhh ahaha it just came into my head.
