I love it You know it's so great to see how the majority of the people on Perez also seem to love it. The half of the 'haters' only hate it because the original was wonderful as well (which nobody denies) I wish people could see this as an hommage to the Heart girls. Because it is, and a gorgeous one Can't wait to hear the final track on the album on maximum volume YAJ

The song is very high cool! It sounds strong, passionately! Beautiful! I love it very much!

 

I agree with Filine, that the original one is incredibly wonderful, but...there are some monents in Celine's performance that I like more. These moments sound more deeper and ....may be sometimes tragic!

but the problem is that...it's not only me.There are lots of people who don't like Celine and would say:

"another cover as second single? haven't got this woman creative sense???"

one of my all time favorites!!!! and Celine brings it to a whole new level....the music box intro just leaves me speechless I don't know... it's like the OST to a Tim Burton movie...jejeje....I edited it yesterday to have a 3:11 song with intro & outro and I'm eager to get the CD and hear those missing 10 seconds and of course the song in FULL qualiity by the way i already have x60 plays count on my itunes from that song...jejeje

I like it, but not for a single. I'm sure we'll have more suitable songs for radio than Alone, which btw, its a cover (don't forget that). It would be too much rock if they choose this for second single and they need to pass on Ne Yo and RNB songs

 

And also, don't get too overexcited before knowing the full tracklist. We only know 7 songs and the album will have 9 more, which I hope there will be some pop and r'nb

I just dont think the song we have is the completed version. I refuse to believe that Moody took what could have been such an emotionally edgy song and reduce it to what we've heard. I love Celine's performance, ho9wever, I think that its raw and unmixed. It sounds like a demo for the song, not the final version. I'm hoping the final version is more finished.

also, when she hit that note - AAAAAHHHHHH - i think it was half a second late, it just was a bit off. This is my favorite heart song which i've listened to a million times. and i wished she hit that note chest voice and not a headtone, since she used a headtone, she should've just raised the note a bit higher.

I don't know how this guy works, was never really interested in his work (especially not with that Evanescence woman miaowing around), but I hope for a really good and full sound - not just for this but for the whole album.

Ok, I LOVE this song..but I have to say that at this point I like the original more. Like morfino said she dosn`t really have a lot of chest voice here and I think in this song you need it. I mean just listen to the way Ann sings it. Its so full of angst and power. Not to say that she dosn`t have power in the song, because she does...but I just think it could use more. I think she sounds a little mechanical in some parts too. I definitely give her credit for covering this tune though...its is NOT easy!

This song has already developed a lot of interest on youtube, I've realized. And there are a lot of positive comments but more negative...

 

The original is so amazing, and I agree that Celine should have dug into that amazing vocal power she's got and pushed it even more than she did. It could have been AMAZING, and given the original a run for which is better....but, sadly, she just didn't bring enough power to it.

 

But I expect some amazing live performances from Celine on this one! And I'm so happy she recorded it.

Great, great, great, great song. I've loved it since forever and I was delighted to see that Celine didn't stick to the original. The original is great, I love it but it belongs to a different time. Celine's version gives this song another mood, another feel, another soul, a different shade which I think it's brilliant. Love the music box thing in the end. Great song!
