Yeah a wee bit more of a chance in the UK. ANDHC reached number 2 and the video was only out a week before. lol and there was hardly any airplay up here for that.

 

I'm planning on going to x factor does anyone have any idea of the date?

 

ANDHC album went to number one, ANDHC single got to number 7

WOOOOOOOW that's great news, 2 TV appearances in the UK in one month! *faints* I wanna know when she'll be on the X factor too, they're keeping that one quiet.

yeah I tied phoning Sony today and the guy transferred me to someone who may have been able to help but i just got her answering machine and I left a message but she hasn't called me back yet. :sadwalk:

 

Maybe she is away to find out or off work today and will call me tomorrow :yes:

it must be that saturday or the saturday before that she appears on xfactor, as shes in france the following week, but just to make sure i emailed simon cowells pa, so waiting to hear back also:)

just out of interest where does she normally stay in london, as everyone knows she stays at the george v hotel in paris, but i think shes known to change around a few of the london hotels on a few visits here..sometimes the berkeley and the mandarin oriental, and i think she stayed at another one overlooking hyde park when she was here in 2002?!?

i hope it wont be mhwgo, although it probably is...the uk press will have a field day slating this song and celine yet again!! :(

Brilliant news. Thanks for that. Good to see her doing different things.

 

We can pretty much take it that her appearance on The X Factor will be on either 21st October or 4th November then. Personally hope it's 4th November as that will be closer to album release date.

 

Celine could do so well in the charts with her new release she really could. I just don't understand Sony's strategy. Oh wait yes I do, they don't have one.

That's great. They're finally putting Celine on the guest list of interesting events again. Even if they have her sing MHWGO for the 100th time, that's much better than let her do her promotion on of those cheap TV shows. Oh, and Joanna Lumley is hosting, I like her. She's great. Hope you'll record it when it airs.

I just can't see Celine singing MHWGO. I mean surely not. This will be her chance to get "Taking Chances" heard everywhere in the UK in a very short period of time. This particular show will air in mid November just as the album is coming out. There is simply no other option for her to sing other than "Taking Chances."

Because that NEVER happens does it?

 

Could they have perhaps invited her along because she's a worldwide superstar and she happens to be in the UK at the time of the ceremony? Yes Celine has a link with movies but she could be providing the entertainment at the interval for all we know? Artists go on shows all the time to promote their material when the show has nothing to do with the song.

 

Does that mean that for the Billboard or Brit awards we can only get musicians to present the show not comedians because it's their job to crack jokes and that has nothing to do with a music award show?

Hi guys

 

Just heard that Celine will be performing a selection of Hits at the Happy Birthday Bafta awards show on October 28th @ The New London Theatre, London. She will be a surprise guest of the evening and tickets are on sale now at £55 quid each, not many left!

 

Any UK fans i would love to hear from and look forwards to talking and meeting up with you!!
