I must say I felt a bit guilty when I was able to download it from the link on this forum .... but just couldn't wait to hear it in full......and I eased my concious knowing I would purchase it officially as soon as it appears on iTunes UK...and ofcourse will want the CD version for my car AND I have pre-ordered the Album on Amazon...AND I am buying every Video as they appear on iTunes to ...... So I am a good boy realy ......Come on everyone make sure you spend that 79p even if you already have the free copy....lets see Celine at Number 1 again where she belongs

She isn't even listed on their website as being a Sony artist. Her new single has been played once, ONCE, on Radio 2 and that's it for promotion in the UK.

 

It's honestly hard to believe at the moment that Celine Dion is the biggest selling female artist the UK has even seen.

UK is one of the few countries she'll do promo for the new album. I think you'll get much more promo in the UK soon. Don't need to worry. Celine herself go to UK again would be a big news.

You're absolutely right Bellamy, although it would be nice for her record company to pre-empt her and already have the song playing everywhere prior to her visit here. Perhaps they will, there is still 4 weeks to go I guess but "Taking Chances" should be everywhere by now surely?

Guys I just searced for Celine Dion on iTunes and only random albums that she has appeared on came up like Barbra's old duets album etc. But when I searched for Céline (with the French acute) everything came up. Anyone from English speaking countries get no celine albums, songs, videos...what's going on? Are they adding summit? the video? Or is it just ballsed up for me?

its not really sonys fault - u cant make radio stations play her, it hasnt set radio 2 alight - the djs havnt taken to it. It gets played about three times a week. and radio one never gonna play it so there ya go. But she IS doing way more promo here than she EVER did for a new day has come - she did like one appearence.

We had a ton of requests... but.. Zero label support = bad radio play. Requests for songs only play a smallllll part in airplay.

Well that was probably Clive giving Kelly a slap on the wrist for disobeying him. To me, the labels

make no sense in that aspect - don't they want EVERY artist to sell records?? It's like cutting off the

hand that feeds you. Airplay = sales!

The album is up to pre-order in USA. I just pre-order for $9.99. They have Deluxe version for $13.99.
