Taking Chances on iTunes (USA, Canada, UK, Italy, Spain)!

ITunes now has Celine's Taking Chances available for 99 cents. I bought it already eventhough I have the version from the forum. Personally, I think EVERYONE should support Celine by buying the single... That way her single will rise on the charts!!

it's not on the uk version of itunes, and i don't think i can buy it for the us one!

For the uk Fans, we need to wait and but it from Itunes UK even if you can buy from the US or buy from both.

 

a big part of the UK Official Chart is from downloads and we need to get it to Number 1 by buying from Itunes , Ill be getting it a few times

Céline is probably the only artist, other than maybe Amy Lee & Evanescence, that I will purchase items from after I've already downloaded them.

 

I personally think that if you're going to support someone and be a true fan to them, that you should actually support them (buying versus downloading) unless it's just absolutely impossible for you.

 

I doubt I'll buy any of the album from iTunes since I plan on purchasing (most likely pre-ordering) it when it's released but I'll probably purchase the videos.

So UK fans must keep their eyes on Itunes UK as purchases from their now make up a huge part of the chart and as we all know an artist doesn't actually have to sell that much to get to number 1 these days. So if everyone buys the song from Itunes and then buys the physical commercial single when it's released (and it will be, as Celine is coming to the UK) then Celine stands a great chance of charting really well.

Only on Itunes, whose sales in the uk are attributed to actual sales which helps them chart. My question is though does this happen with other countries, we also have a download chart but that takes into consideration other sites

C'mon everybody! Celine's single hasn't even cracked the top 100 on iTunes ... everyone tell everyone you know to buy it. If you happen to be at a friends house who does not like celine, just sneak to their computer and download it for them
