like i've said before, this song isn't really all that. i think another song off the album is going to be the one that makes a big impact. it is a good song, but it's also rather bland and while it's supposed to be all different, it's really not any different than what she's ever done. the purpose of this song is simply to present the theme of the album and make the statement that celine's music from here on out, won't be what the general public expects it to be. as far as it being on the radio, i think that we all just need to be patient. whether or not it's TC, we all know that with the material from the album, she'll definitely be on the radio at some point. after all, TC (album) doesn't come out until two months from now, and the song hasn't really circulated yet.

Vorige week heeft Céline de videoclip opgenomen voor haar nieuwe single, “Taking Chances”. Niet alleen Céline zal in de clip te zien, er is ook een rol weggelegd voor een speciale gast: Dave Stewart, de schrijver van het nummer en de helft van “The Eurythmics”.

 

De videoclip is geregisseerd door Paul Boyd, die in verleden clips heeft geregisseerd voor Shania Twain, Bryan Adams, Tina Turner & Kylie Minogue. De opnames duurden 3 dagen en vonden op verschillende locaties in Las Vegas plaats. Het schijnt dat er een grote verhaallijn in de clip zit, want enkel 1 van de drie dagen is besteed aan de uitvoering van het nummer (op de twee andere dagen is het verhaal gefilmd).

Last week Céline the videoclip has taken up for her new single, "Taking Chances". Not only Céline will to see in the clip, there is also a role layed out for a special guest: Dave Stewart, the writer of the number and the half of "The Eurythmics".

 

The videoclip is directed by Paul Boyd, that in past clips geregisseerd for Shania Twain, Bryan Adams, Tina Gymnast & Kylie Minogue. The recordings lasted 3 days and found on different locations in Las Vegas . It appears that three is a BIG story line in the clip sit, for only 1 by the three days have been spent at the execution of the number (on the two other days is the story filmed).
