A Boycott ?

I Mean it's maybe not the most impressive song on earth, maybe not the best choice for a first single, but it's as catchy, radio friendly, and modern as all the tracks that there are on radios. Even the hot ones. And this is not so often that we can hear a pop rock song with such a deep and particular voice.

And please, whatever the song has been sent only to USA AC radios or not, this is not the problem...Where is the song in France, Italy, UK, Poland and Germany ? For sure Sony sent the single to all the radios (even if we don't know yet for the other format than AC in the USA), so what are they waiting for ?

we just have to keep requesting. if one radio station gets bombarded with 2000 requests for a song, they cant just ignore it.

I don't mean to be rude but, aren't we complaining about this in almost every single thread? Can't we leave this one for the video?

 

We have a thread for voting and requesting. We have been sending emails everywhere. At least I have been, along with a couple of friends. We can make a difference. We have so many people here, we could really make a difference.

 

Now please, we don't need to complain about this every single time.

Speak for yourself :giggle: , I heard it couple of times today on Croatian radio stations, and they were talking about new album etc... the song is already on most played playlist :clap: :clap: . It's a great feeling hearing it on a radio every couple of hours :w00t: . Can't wait to see the video. I really hope it will be good one this time :unsure: :unsure: .

like i've said before, this song isn't really all that. i think another song off the album is going to be the one that makes a big impact. it is a good song, but it's also rather bland and while it's supposed to be all different, it's really not any different than what she's ever done. the purpose of this song is simply to present the theme of the album and make the statement that celine's music from here on out, won't be what the general public expects it to be. as far as it being on the radio, i think that we all just need to be patient. whether or not it's TC, we all know that with the material from the album, she'll definitely be on the radio at some point. after all, TC (album) doesn't come out until two months from now, and the song hasn't really circulated yet.

I`m excited about the video! But 3 days dosn`t seem that long to make a music video though...I`ve seen specials with other artists and thier videos were at least three days as well.

I want to see Celine standing on top of the Stratrosphere, the rain comes down on her with thunder going off around her. She's all wet and her voice is soaring, in a magnificent gown like a goddess...

What would the story line of that be? Goddess appears on high way in the mist and gives birth to a full grown Céline head wrapped in a lace bag? Well it would surely be something to interpret, a lot deeper than her previous videos.

It'd be cool if they had her running down that road in that dress in those shoes and then it starts to rain and she dodges in to some diner-where her man is waiting...thunder and lightning- a rare storm in Vegas-the mascara is running down her cheeks and her hair is a mess with the rain and then he kisses her and then the music starts..."don't know much about your life..." then they go back to the hotel (ridiculously extravagant suite in Caesar's of course) and start throwing stuff into a suitcase (Hermes Birkin would do- LV is so chav these days) the end has them driving out of Vegas (like the promo vid) with the sign in the back ground and it's just turning daylight with a new sunrise.."don't know much about your world..." Okay being serious:

Well, you know, I think it's proper to say the word "vagina" when you're doing an appropriate conversation.

 

I just think the term "pussy" is a pet name for it, and normally used in informal (and bedroom LOL) settings.

 

 

And for dj4celine to use an sexual adjective in front of it really brought his desires out in the open! :mdr:

i cant wait for the video, i think it'll be awesome, though i realise many of you want to see the 'bright lights of vegas' but to be honest, even though its filmed there i'm hoping its just because celine works and lives there and that its location won't be too obvious. i'm a bit bored of 'vegas themed' videos, promo material etc and im sure the moment something like that came on tv people would be like can she get over vegas already? i along with the rest of the world are ready to move on from 'a new day..' (even though i cant wait to see the dvd!)

 

I think we need something new fresh and in some other city!!! if any portion of the video has celine singing on the a new day... stage or even worse (fingers crossed in fear and perishing the thought) that this director puts something to do with gambling in this video it will be a total let down for me.
