"Taking Chances": Official Music Video

If Celine doesn't have a smash hit with the help of this video she never will. It's honestly one of the "coolest" videos she's even done. Add to that she looks young, fresh and fashionable, plus obvioulsy the song is brilliant. I hope Sony are putting the video into immediate circulation, it's fantastic!

But biker Celine watches superstar Celine's motorcade from the hills and then speeds off to the hotel on her bike while superstar Celine is seen in the back of the limo.

 

or maybe video room celine and motorcycle celine are the same celine...

But this could only be the case if the Celine who watches the screen is actually watching replays of something that happened earlier. Because you see biker Celine on the big screen as she's downloading the data from the briefcase, since she's caught on camera.

 

Storylines are good but green screens are far less confusing.

I've logged on to TC like 3 or 4 times today and I don't see the video?!

Céline #2 (masked rider) is heading off (saying goodbye) into the unknown (with Dave Stewart), ready to take on her next mission, her next step, her next challenge....elsewhere.

 

The "Alone" theory: "..till now, I always got by on my own"

"Bond Céline" definately did. Then she meets her man...."never really cared until I met you"

But who is the Celine who watches everything and why does she have this seemingly precious disc in her room? Is it the next album from superstar Celine? Or is the Celine who watches everything not actually part of the storyline? Because we know Dave Stewart works for superstar Celine (he greets her when she gets off the helicopter) but is secretly plotting against her with biker Celine (he greets her when she returns from the heist and they head off in superstars helicopter). I don't get how this other Celine fits in the story.

 

The one who watches everything is the boss to Céline and David, Céline's twin if you want, or simply see her as the narrator. The disc is the one theif Céline downloads and is of course the new album, which theif Céline is stealing from the ones she seems to work for to get it to the one who she really works for - boss Céline.

It was...goofy. I liked it, but on the other hand, it's...goofy. Her moves in the blue room, the thief's antics...goofy. However, I still think it's a great video to re-introduce her to those who thought she was an "old singer from the past, off in La-la land somewhere". I'd loved to have seen her singing her scenes out there on the Vegas street, in all the lights.

 

At the same time, I was thinking...I want to be that thief, get into Celine's room, and steal the new album so it could be "Mine...all MINE!!!" (insert maniacal laughter).

As far as I am concerned our secret agent Céline steals the new cd of superstar Céline Dion (the one with the high heels that comes out of the helicopter). The third Céline is only there to playback the song, because it would be different to playbck with a helmet on.

 

And now that I am thinking about it, I figured it out! I think that our secret agent is working for Britney! It should have been Britney receiving the cd at the end!

But if that was the case then biker Celine steals the disc from this mastermind Celine. The disc was beside the chair she was sitting in while she was watching over everything. Why would she steal from her boss if she was working for her? She already had the disc with her in the security room and wouldn't need her to steal it.

i just saw that. but its so hard to decipher... all you see are her legs walking down a hall, for like a split second. and then you see her going into an elevator, also for a split second. but theres no marker or anything telling you that helicopter celine is walking into the same elevator as motorcycle celine. you kind of assume, but its really badly edited/directed imo.

I get it now! The disc she takes isn't Taking Chances but it's the footage from the security cameras. You can see the "Security Camera Disabled" message on the screen behind her. She was covering her tracks.
