2 A New Day... bootlegs videos from Sept. 5

I don't think it sounds so obvious in that video clip. However, it was VERY obvious when I saw her on August 30th. It just didn't flow right. And I won't even begin to talk about "To Love You More." LOL

 

But anyway, I agree that it'll be nice to see A New Day... close. At least we'll be able to get more variety into the shows, there won't be too many constraints (sp?) to tie her down, etc.

You are totally right guys, it's obvious when the playback tape starts...Her voice now sounds so much deeper than on the tape....I hope that on the world tour her voice as already recover a little bit...It really needs a rest

 

 

i completly agree with you, she must be very tired of be singing the same songs everyday,and in those other programs..she just sounds great! everything is going to end soon, she'll leave Vegas, and the powerfull and energetic Celine we know, will be back

I think we are all overreacting here. If celine's voice was in so much bad shape and needed a rest that badly, then there is no way she would have been able to sound as fantastic as she has in the song taking chance's and her album of excellence d'elle. plus your relying on bootlegs that doesn't help you here her pronunciation that well anyway. I think she sounded great and you know what, theres only two months left and she is doing fantastic.

one more thing, it is a choreographed show. things have to be the same especially when it is running on a time constraint. we all know that

Celine's voice's changed... That's for sure... BUT, particularly, I think it's got better and better... When she's outta Vegas, her voice seems to get back... I've never been to Vegas, but, I believe that her "Vegas" voice isn't SO perfect... Those clips show me two of my favs. performances from A New Day... So, I think they're great.

Oh! Her voice sounds so tired in these two bootlegs videos.. and the recorded track she uses on TPOL is so threadbare that it sounds ridiculous now.

Look, TPOL and TLYM have always been my favorite of all times (Live/Lip-synched). I really don't matter that she playbacks because I fell she can't sing like that live. Do u know what I mean? Live she could not do that Ohh Ohh in the ending, we can infer that by watching all the real live performances, as in Rosie O Donnel's tragic performance.

 

The same for TPOL, she never holds that AMAZING last note like that live. I agree that its been repeated too many times but I loved her faces and moves when the song was finishing. So angry, so strong. (See Au Coeur Du Stade one).

 

I hope she still sing this two songs at the tour if she comes here, playback or not.
