OMG I just found out the connection between my surname and Céline!! :lmao:

Holstein, essentially the part of Old Saxony that was situated north of the river Elbe, was conquered by Charlemagne ca. 800.

What?!! And that connection isn't enough to have you over to their house for brunch? Or at least backstage... :giggle:

Antonio is an Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish first name. It is the Italian, Portuguese and Spanish version of Anthony, and has some female derivates: Antonia, Antonietta, Antonella (Italian), Antónia, Antonieta (Portuguese), Antonieta (Spanish). It has also some male derivates such as: Antoñito, Antonino, Antonello, Tonio, Toño, Tonino, Nantonio, Totò, Tó or Tony. The Portuguese equivalent is António or Antônio. In old Portuguese the form Antão was also used.

Antonio comes from the Antonius Roman family name group. The name's origin is said to be ancient Greece, coming either from the word Anthos (a flower) or from Anthonio, Greek king of Achaia.

The name is widely used in Italy, in Portugal and in Spain. After the Iberic peoples discovered the new world, many of them settled in the area, and, as a consequence, Antonio is one of the most popular first names in Latin America, as well as among Hispanics, and, to a small degree, North Americans in the United States.

So my name is Denelle, I'm told it's French but some sites have it listed as American. It apparently means God is my Judge. I've never heard of anybody else with my name before and because it's so uncommon I'm quite likely to just answer to anything that begins with D really, I've never once been called by my correct name before first time it's mainly Janelle or Danielle that I get. My mum had always wanted to call her first daughter Denelle from when she was a little girl, she had lived in Melbourne and a family had moved next door from France and the little girl Denelle would spend hours on end on her swing and mum just said she was so adorable. I'm Italian and got stuck with a far less glamorous surname; Calafiore meaning either shrub or Cauliflower  (I choose shrub). I'm a teacher so needless to say the kids struggle with calling me something, I happy to answer to Miss or excuse me

My old boss was named Denelle, and she was such a b*tch...everyone hated her  Not that I'm comparing you to her, haha...it's just she had that name too! :P

No way a can't believe that you've heard of my name before that's exciting not good that she was a b*tch though, hopefully she's not representative of all us Denelle's in the world I promise I'm nice and make up for her b*tchiness  :flowers:

Yep, small world! I know your a sweet heart! :D :flowers:
