I don't get why we would need a press conference?! Give her some time to do the radio station/TV shows circuit to present her new material. That would have much more impact than giving Celine her five minutes to talk about the "girlboy" as Stevo called him in front of the associated press.

Because it is one of the biggest way to promote Celine not just in the US but for the rest of the world! Do you remember when the Spice Girls had their press conference this last July? The news was global right? In just 1 day there is already 1 million fans who registered to buy tickets in just 1 day and there was a total of about 3.5 million tickets after a week. That's what they got just for 27 minute press conference held in London.

 

So now, the whole world know that the Spice Girls are still alive and that's what I want for Celine as well. I want the world to know that Celine is still existing.
