its offically losing more steam in the United States where it didnt even hit the top 50.....

 

Down -27 spins on the pop format and no more adds on Hot AC.

 

Boy, what a sin......This was such a good song. It saddens me, even my local radio station who always plays Celine still hasnt played this :shrug: :down:

 

I really hope she get s some hits out of this album......she deserves it. :down:

But it WAS and still is a hit in Canada!! It went to #1 on AC chart and Top 10 on mainstream chart in Canada. I suggest you call your local station to wake them up OR listen to another one... :giggle:

Feel quite disappointed with Celine's "Taking Chances" single not doing that well in the charts.

It's been weeks since it was released..i thought it would eventually "peak"...sad to say, it never happened.

Also, Celine, herself, promoting and all, plus the fact that it was her comeback of sorts in the pop mainstream,

I was kind of expecting people would embrace the single and eventually catch on..

 

Now I wonder what Sony is doing to promote a second single? Alone, to me, is a perfect choice, only because of its pop-ballad flavour. This could also be the "All By Myself" of Celine's latest album. We all know, what that song did for her.

 

If not Alone...perhaps, Fade Away...it has that catchy and infectious feel and vibe to it. Although, I couldn't help but link it with Kelly Clarkson's music.

 

I really think Celine needs a new hit.

 

If not This time, I guess..... That's The Way It Is!!

It debuts this week on TOP 100 here in Brazil!!!

 

It's at #96 !

 

It's the first time a song of hers come on top 100 since ANDHC single!

I honestly don't think this is going to be the song that everyone remembers this album by. TC is a good song, but there are so many other songs on the album that have way more potential than that song ever did. Personally, I think EOM could've worked well for the next U.S. single because it would've brought about some attention. But I guess the song's for the U.K. only, which is kinda sad.

That would be good - it is at a better position in HOT AC and POP than it was but it is dropping due to Z100 dropping it as they had the largest audience share by far

I never even knew the song the orchestra was playing........

The CD single is up from #18 to #17 in Italy this week!!! It's its 8th week (= 2 months) on the chart!!!
