Taking Chances No 70 on Itunes UK

How depressing that she's only reached number 70 in the UK. Sony have sent the song to local radio because I heard it on my local station today. I truly hope the CD single hits the shops on Monday. Celine deserves a hit after coming here.

She really does Shaun. I reckon it would go top ten. A New Day Has Come did and it had hardly any airplay and nothing like X factor to promote it. Maybe the Divas show will help

 

A few people I know only heard it on x factor and some say its a grower and would like to hear it more other say its a good song. It needs released because celine fans are not the type of people who usually download

There is hope I think for the single in the UK.! Its finally getting some airplay! i heard it yesterday on bbc radio2 the UK s most popular station during the morning rush hour where millions will be listening, its also been played on video music channel Smash Hits tonight, which appeals to a young pop audience and the music channel Bliss. So this is good news plus saturday night divas and the baftas on tv this sat and next weds plus the audience with , i think the momentum will start to grow now

the situation in europ is not better

 

i must admit that eventho i thought TC is the wrong choice for the first single i was certain it will be a hit in europ thanks to her visit yet the song is not even in the euro top 50 - by now she had to be there based on airply only...hopefuly things will get better - i truely think they should release the second single as soon as possible

i don't want to sound pessimistic but celine will have a hard time to hit number 1 with her album in the US, UK, and Germany. In the US alicia keys is expected to be number 1 with huge numbers. in the UK, Leona lewis will be number 1 with massive numbers and celine will be lucky to be in top 3...in germany alicia keys is doing so well...i just hate sonybmg for releasing alicia's album in the same week as celine's...what were they thinking of? they should make it easier for their premiere artist on their label!!!
