Keep in mind that it's the best way to mail the DJs themselves so that they can forward your wishes personally to the music manager or whomever responsible for the music at a given radio station. This is my way of requesting, some may have other way but I will still give you the email of the MORNING SHOW DJ in case no general mail address is given. It is also wise to start off your request by greeting the show host personally: Hi Brian, Hi Sandy etc. Morning shows are the best time for Céline as "Taking Chances" is a great song to start the day off with! Tell them that you love waking up to it, her new sound is great, fresh, you have been waiting for a new great song like that for long etc.

This should be enough for the first show for the USA.

 

Under NO circumstances should anyone of you just copy and paste the email addresses into the "Send to" field in your email application! This way the messages will bedeleted AT ONCE by the recipient.

 

Remember:

 

- try to be personal (with the radio station)

- emphasize Céline's new sound

- how does the song makes you feel?

- always one UNIQUE email per DJ

- No CCs, hidden copies, just ONE email per DJ

- you can copy and paste the message but ALWAYS remember, never add multiple-recipients to a message!

- try to be short and compact
