OMG. I'm on the verge of having myself a fit if I hear one more talk about the VMA's. I don't think that a tribute at the VMA's is a good idea. Like someone mentioned they won't overly care about Paravotti, and to even think about haveing Celine sing that horrible song... don't get me started.

Now a well planned tribute at the Grammys would be much metter. Pavarotti deserves something that took time to plan. Not a 2 minute rushed tribute. I don't mean to sound harsh but that's how I see things.

I think Celine's done enough virtual duets with dead people to last a lifetime. How about she sings the song at a proper tribute concert in Italy with a tenor who studied and respected Pavarotti instead? Or one of the other fabulous tenors of the world? I think this would be far better than a carbon copy of All The Way...

I think they will have a special tribute in Italy with many other singers and that would be

much more appropriate for Luciano. If Celine is free, she would go and do it.

 

I grew up on MTV when they used to actually play music - now MTV is crap here in the US. I

hope it's better in Brazil. I don't think MTV would be playing Celine videos now even if they

did play music and not reality shows.

I Hate MtV and Celine is som much above all the people are going to attend

 

They have nothing in common : Celine and the performers of the VMA's, Celine is too NICE for there crowD. OK

 

Everyone at MTV Hates Celine, They KNOW she has one of the best voices ever but they still HATE her style...They hate the fact that she has sold out Vegas forever...They hate the fact she married in their words " A 90 year old man"...They hate the fact that whenever she has the chance she talks about Rene Charles...and They Hate the Fact that she sings songs with meaning Love Songs and lyrics that are true and make sense NOT GARBAGE

 

So in all relaity...She doesnt belong there not becauase she is CORNY...But because She is above them all

 

Celine stick to the Grammies,WMA's,Billboards,Oscars all of them that count

 

MTV is SH*t and Celine is to good to be there PERIOD.......................

I think that céline doesn't care about the MTV awards, she hates a ceremony like this, you know It's like in France with the Molieres or Festival de Cannes, evrybody say that they love them, but in reality they hate eachothers, It 's like the duet between Mariah Carey and Wythney, they hate themselves

So long Luciano. We will never forget you.

 

 

 

The song "I Hate You Then I Love You" is one of the most beautiful song for a duet in the world.

 

 

It makes me cry everytime I try to think about the song.

 

 

Time sure comes for everyone. :cry:

i know there's an mtv rejection here...

 

but through mtv and pavarotti and friends

i discovered the band "the corrs"

i saw the spice girls perform as 4 piece for the first time when geri left the group in 98

i saw celine singing the duet for the first time

 

such historical moments...

a tribute on this mtv it will be historic too.

Bruno, don't you know Celine is to good for MTV? Get a frickin grip! You are driving us all mad! Just the thought of MTV paying tribute to Pavarotti is, it's laughable! Not to be rude, but MTV, Pavarotti and Celine don't mix. They never have and they never will. As for the thought of a Pavarotti tribute on the VMA's: :mdr: :mdr: :mdr:

C'est une magnifique prestation de la part de ces 2 chanteurs. Céline est extraordinaire et reste humble devant Pavarotti. C'est une belle qualité qu'elle a su garder. Merci beaucoup !
