1. Erotica - Madonna

http://www.blogdalu.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/madonna-erotica.jpg

This CD isn't really about sex, besides about 3-4 songs. It's about relationships and the different kinds of love. This is, by far, the most artistic, amazing, creative album I have ever heard. Every song is a must-hear, there isn't one that I can skip.

Highlights: Erotica, Fever, Deeper and Deeper, Waiting, Thief of Hearts, Rain

2. Hysteria - Def Leppard

http://scrapetv.com/News/News%20Pages/Everyone%20Else/images-2/def-leppard-hysteria-cover.jpg

Amazing 80's album. All of the songs could be singles, all of them are amazing. Joe Elliot does some amazing vocals, and the rest of the band is amazing as well.

Highlights: Woman, Rocket, Love Bites, Pour Some Sugar on Me, Armageddon It, Love and Affection

3. Day & Age - The Killers

http://thehurstreview.files.wordpress.com/2008/11/day-age.jpg

Great band, one of my favorites. This is my personal favorite album of theirs.

Highlights: Human, Superman, A Dustland Fairytale, The World We Live In, Goodnight Travel Well, A Crippling Blow

4. Butterfly - Mariah Carey

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_nUKbIyDzTwY/Rob7m1hXX_I/AAAAAAAACs0/TLsHt6fPoAo/s320/Mariah_carey_1997_Butterfly_Front.jpg

Her most creative, versatile album to date. Wonderful songs.

Highlights: Honey, Butterfly, My All, The Roof, Breakdown, Close My Eyes

http://www.vertor.com/ct_files/1/6/0/9/1609030//images/image1.jpg

All tracks on this Kenny G album are to die for. I love them all.

2. FUNHOUSE - P!nk

http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb63/rezzy19/PinkFunhouseAlbumCover.jpg

Most of the songs on here are AMAZING. Definitely one of P!nk's best albums.

3. CARNIVAL RIDE - Carrie Underwood

http://www.roughstock.com/v2/images/Carrie-Underwood-Carnival-Ride-CVR-300-01.jpg

Top tracks: So Small, Just A Dream, I Told You So.

And those are to name only few of the albums which I love (that are non-Celine :P )

thanks Frida, for reviving this one ;)

Well i think THE current POP album you have to have is The Fame by Lady Gaga. This young girl is brilliant! If you are looking for a new Madonna, you don't have to look no further! But unlike the 'Queen' of Pop, this singer has an amazing voice. She could sing one of Christina's songs and not be out of place at all!

highlights

of course all the singles:

Poker Face

Just Dance

The Fame

but also Money Honey and I like It Rough

but one of my favs is Brown Eyes :wub2:

One heck of a song i happen to bumb into!!!! 'You Give Me Love' by the hot italian girls with fantastic voices, Paola & Chiara ...mid-tempo; great melody! great track! the english lyrics r kinda cheesy; but its one of those problems that happen when a non-english song is translated. the italian version sounds more natural and is easy to find, but the english version is kinda rare; i saw it on itunes though. try playing this track in the car while u r on a long drive ...AMAAAAZING!!!! if anybody wants this, ask me with ur mail id; i'll be happy to share.

Beverley Knight "Music City Soul"

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/c/c6/Musiccitysoul.jpg

I just love this album from 2007, Beverley Knight is truly a modern day soul queen and this album personifies it.

Recorded using live musicicans and recorded to reflect the style of albums made by legendar soul singers Aretha Franklyn and Sam Cooke. This is the kind of recording style that I'd love to see Celine attempt at some stage in the next 10 years.
