Faith Hill - Before and after Photoshop by Redbook

Now, carrying on, I must say that Faith Hill is beautiful regardless of the digital post-production edits of her photographs.

To me, she still looks like Faith, before AND after the adjustments.

I disagree with you, I think the difference is pretty much noticeable...

It makes her look much thinner, and on young teens' minds, I believe it can make a difference.

I think you misinterpreted what I said.

What I meant to say was that I did not have to look twice to see if that was Faith Hill or not. She's recognizable and is apparently a beautiful with or without digital edits.

It's not like they turned her from an oompa loompa.

It's probably redundant to argue word class with majority second language English users. However English is one of the only languages that accepts the fluidity of word class, so technically it's not considered wrong. In particular due to the fact that it's considered part of the technical language lexicon of computer users (under which standard syntax doesn't apply).

Frankly I don't agree with photoshop being the devil...most of what they did there was adjust the light, fix her skin tone, her dress at the back because it was puffing out and her hair to make the picture look perfect. With the amount of money at stake here, I can understand why magazine's would want the pictures to be 100% in every way. The cover is what sells the magazine, no one is going to buy a magazine that has Faith Hill looking hot mess on the front cover, that's the reality of society whether people accept it or not.

That's right. There're many "new" words in new edition of dictionaries.

Honestly, Bellamy, that is A BEAUTIFUL, and ABSOLUTELY STUNNING photographic composition. But did Mariah have to strip?

But I can't recognize HER body from the photo.

They just took this:

and photoshopped it a little so that it goes along better with her Ms. Piggy head.

Yep, that's definitely not her body. And whom does she want to sell her perfume to naked like that?
