smw Posted July 20, 2006 at 09:18 PM Posted July 20, 2006 at 09:18 PM I'd like to have a duet with Aretha Franklin or Martina McBride <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Martina would be a great choice. I think both of them could sing in tones to compliment the other. Well, I honestly think Celine has the range to compliment ANY artist. She's proven that over the years...unlike others (ehem Mariah ehem). I also think that a soft song with Norah Jones would blow people away. Norah with her jazzy style, and Celine with a jazzy/whispering tone(like Seduces Me) would be superb. Quote
smw Posted July 20, 2006 at 09:19 PM Posted July 20, 2006 at 09:19 PM OH! And of course, Michael Buble. We all know Celine is a fan of his! And on that last post...I was describing Seduces Me as "whispering" not "jazzy", but Celine is capable of both. Quote

Nando Férri Posted July 21, 2006 at 02:41 AM Posted July 21, 2006 at 02:41 AM Well... that depends a lot... If we are talking about a very good COMERCIAL one, I would say something like U2. But if we are talking about something strong and powerful, I would say something like Whitney Houston... By the way, have you ever thought about Celine & Madonna together? WOW! That would be sooooooo strange! LOL Quote http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4ejungtQy1r9swpco6_250.gif

ANewDay... Posted July 21, 2006 at 06:37 AM Posted July 21, 2006 at 06:37 AM Lara Fabian plus Celine - it would be perfect. smw Posted July 21, 2006 at 08:04 AM Posted July 21, 2006 at 08:04 AM I wonder how a collab with Christina Aguilera would sound. Or Beyoncé?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> She did a couple of live songs with Destiny's Child, but not a true recording. And Celine is a fan of Christina! So maybe we'll see that in the future. This time, Celine will be the older one! We're so used to "Tell Him". Quote

celine5-5 Posted July 22, 2006 at 02:23 AM Posted July 22, 2006 at 02:23 AM god, you guys are lame! i'd rather hear her do something cool, like with shakira, or mariah carey, or coldplay, maybe gwen stefani, or dht? it needs to be catchy and not just same old same old with people like josh groban, and other crap. but a duet with enya would be neat-o, if we were to go with the light pop artists. nati Posted July 22, 2006 at 03:08 AM Posted July 22, 2006 at 03:08 AM Maybe another duet with Rosie O'Donnell . Or maybe a duet with with Enrique Iglesias or Chris Daughtry on What A Wonderful World. Quote Thanks Celine for the great memories. I will never forget you

Jeanine Posted July 22, 2006 at 03:53 PM Posted July 22, 2006 at 03:53 PM A duet like Mary J Blige's with U2 would be wonderfull. Céline can really deal with them! And it would, commercially seen, be a very good step. Because you're talking 'bout a "Big duet". This will be her comeback-smash-hit!! An idea for after Vegas? But another one with Garou for her next French album can reach a big public francophone. Their voices are so good with eachother. And we'll not forget the two big Canadians for her next English album: Shania Twain. With the U2 duet and this one, Céline will be on the top of the hitlists all over the world after Vegas with her comeback. A world tour someone? Let's pray and hope....Jeanine Quote http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/music/entity/platinum/celine_dion_banner_cropped.jpg Order NOW

Celinemaniac Posted July 22, 2006 at 10:06 PM Posted July 22, 2006 at 10:06 PM Coldplay have asked a duet with Celine not long time ago! I'd like her doing it! Just to see what would that be like!Of course, a duet with: Lara Fabian (it would be THE news!), Patrick Fiori (something more "rocky" like "Yoenai" or a ballad like "Si Tu Revenais"), Calogero (something written by him of course)...
