With someone like Celine standing next to her, you wouldn't even be able to hear the slightest peep from her. Sure, she might've had a lot of hits in the past, but her voice just isn't anything special... She's like the older version of Britney Spears... But you know, I don't really think Faith Hill, Shania, and Martina are considered "divas". And Cher? My god, it's like a blast from the past. And it's a big pity that they are not doing them anymore. Hopefully VH1 will change their minds soon and instead of making "Rock Honors" concerts they will bring back the Divas idea. I still want to see Annie Lennox, Toni Braxton, Vanessa Williams, Carly Simon, Sheryl Crow, Roberta Flack, Barbra Streisand and Bonnie Tyler in the show. They all have never appeared and deserve a spot on an event like that. If they need a flavour of the moment, then add Leona Lewis who I think is the real next Diva. And Celine would always be welcomed, of course. Quote
