Problem is, i don't have anyone to go with this time and was wondering who on the forum is going for this show? Also, should I get hospitality tickets? Are they worthwhile? Ticketconnection's client services director, Lise Kuhle, said: "It is with great regret and disappointment that we have had to withdraw from the market place." Kuhle said Ticketconnection had been forced to apply for liquidation as concert promoter Duncan Heafield of Kusasa- Commodities Entertainment had refused to reimburse the public for the events. She said the "inability" of Heafield to settle his debt had not affected Ticketconnection's daily operations, but they had received "massive credit card charge backs" on their account which had compromised their ability to trade. Kuhle explained: "A credit card charge back is when a customer simply asks the bank to reverse the purchase made on their credit card, and the customer is then directly reimbursed." She said Heafield's public statement that Kusasa would not repay patrons for the Groban concert because it had never taken place was why many people had asked for charge back. Heafield recently told the Cape Argus that he was in the process of refunding dissatisfied Dion fans who had been unable to enter the Vergelegen Wine Estate because they were stuck in traffic for hours. Kuhle said Ticketconnection was not in a position to refund Groban fans because they had not received the cash paid for tickets. "Kusasa says Ticketconnection must handle the refunds but they have all the money," she said. Ticketconnection had acted as an agent for the promoter and was not legally responsible for reimbursements. "It is always the promoter's prerogative, as we collect funds on their behalf. "All customers who purchased web, call centre and group-booking tickets for the Josh Groban event should contact the promoter to be refunded directly," Kuhle said.
