They're talking about it on CNBC First The Soprano's spoof Saying that choosing Celine's song is trying to relate to the RED states, showing Celine's video, air canada subject, and the commercial, "a canadian singer" vs. "a las vegas song and a las vegas artist"

I can understand some of your feelings about the song, it's not one of my favorites but it's not bad for a political campaign. It has a positive and upbeat message and sound which is what a campaign needs. I really don't think it will have any negative effect on Celine. People have always been polarized about her and I don't think that's going to change. The one problem that Hillary may have is that she chose a Canadian instead of an American and that may not sit well with some people even though it seems like a minor point. It sounds silly, but some people think about things like that. There has already been some press about this.

 

If you think about it, what other Celine song would have really been appropriate for something like this? I can't think of any.

I am happy as this will bring Céline back into spotlight again. This song is already big at YouTube, ppl are asking for it and the fact that it's not all that high quality doesn't mean it's bad for Céline. It is her who recorded it to promote Air Canada and this song gets its second life for Hillary.

 

And I wouldn't be surprised if Céline showed her full support for Hillary. She ain't hiding her liberal views. She supported Bill Clinton and she will support Hillary even indirectly through this song. She will surely not refuse to give away the rights for a proper price of course.

 

But I'm really happy, this only means something good for the promo! Happy careless song nobody cared about will get its second chance to take off!

Whether Celine likes it or not she is thrust into the political lime light when she voiced her views on Hurricane Katrina on Lerry King. So Hillary picked up on that and brought gurl frend in on the campaign, good move on Hilary's part. Hillary will no doubt get all the Celine vote when she runs for president.

AND Hillary stands for so many things Celine DOESN'T. So weird?...
