Beyonce's sister offers songs to Celine

BEYONCE KNOWLES' sister SOLANGE is to take over as the pop superstar's manager once their father Mathew Knowles steps aside in five years time.

Solange, who has enjoyed pop success of her own, has revealed she's the heiress to the music mogul's MusicWorld empire, which also includes a record label.

The pretty 20-year-old explains, "In five years I'll be answering those calls. I'll be the president and CEO." In the meantime, talented Solange, who has also acted in a string of movies, is busy pitching songs she has written to stars like Reba McIntyre and Celine Dion.

 

Note to Solange: you want Reba to sing your song, spell her name right!

Right now, everyone is trying to jump aboard the CELINE DION WAGON, knowing that she's prepping for the release of her next English album... they're all pitching songs to her. Pitching is just a proposal folks. You have to understand this. Pitching is a proposal demo track recorded by the songwriter or songwriter's affiliates, and is normally under a minute long. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT CELINE WILL ACCEPT IT NOR HAS SHE CONSIDERED. I'm sure Celine's management is receiving proposals from every direction right now; maybe even one hundred pitches a day. This is very common for a high caliber artist like Celine - that people want to be a part of her career and that they feel they will get free publicity for just mentioning THE NAME: CELINE DION. I see some of you like to make a list of different people who "MIGHT BE" on Celine's album. Bear in mind that the high caliber songwriters actually keep their pitches as secretive as possible, and wait until they are accepted before the press knows about it. And these folks that likes to use Celine's name in vain, and for their free publicity, will just get disappointed and embarassed when they are not accepted later on... [/color]

 

 

Thanks for bringing this up...that makes a whole lot of sense now! I mean, it's like everyday we are hearing about a new songwriter working with Celine. Celine is very popular at this time and what better way to get free publicity! Add "Celine Dion" and you will get millions of hits on the internet alone!

i think they are making a mistake with including so many genres of music on the cd. the same thing they did with ANDHC. it didnt work. they have to pick 1 theme and stick with it and stop trying to appeal to everyone.

well, i really don't know what to think... i don't like Beyoncé's songs that much, but I don't know how well her sister writes, so I can't say that much... but as Love has said, many artists are trying to get a space into Céline's CD, so we'll have to wait and see which ones are gonna be chosen...

SOLANGE PREPS NEW ALBUM AND WRITES FOR DION AND MCENTIRE

 

R&B singer/songwriter Solange is writing songs for Balladry legend Celine Dion (huh?!) and Country star Reba McEntire, alongside preparing her upcoming LP due later this year. I’m pretty surprised about her collabos with Dion, but since the latter roped in R&B crooner Shaffer “Ne-Yo” Smith for the same project, then why not Solange! Don’t forget that she also co-wrote Beyonce’s “Get Me Bodied” and “Upgrade U” with mega producer Kasseem “Swizz Beatz” Dean, who also produced a track on her sophomore album called “Pretty Good”

there's also a song call "love must be you"... i heard the news on a site about the song ... it maybe a hit or something... but still haven't released yet... haha...

 

so there's 20 songs already released from ANDHC recording and probably few more in OH which i'm not sure about it...

also i think "Live To Love" probably too was recroded at the same time...
