Teodora Posted May 6, 2007 at 03:16 PM Posted May 6, 2007 at 03:16 PM We've taken that flight too. It was a wonderful experience, so much so we're planning on doing it again in September (the travel company we've booked with offered the trip free if we booked before the end of January - so we did)! Last time the company was Heli USA. Don't know if it'll be the same this time Was this the $60 flight? Anyway, I'm so gonna do this in December! Gosh, do I have a busy schedual for those 9 days Quote
racey3229 Posted May 6, 2007 at 07:43 PM Posted May 6, 2007 at 07:43 PM take a helicopter flight down the strip at night sounds very interesting. I thought it's much more than $60 before. Can you take photos or video when you're on the helicopter? hi yes you tan take pics, and video it too as long as you cover the flash with your hand on the camera so it doesnt blind the pilot!! it was that good we did it twice,it is really cheap definately only $60 and that includes pick up and drop off to your hotel!!That is cool! What's the company you went with? There are about a billion that offer different things like this in Vegas i think it was heli usa we went with,we saw it advertised in a brochure given to us on the strip Quote My Taking Chances Tour 2008-2009.... WendyB Posted May 6, 2007 at 09:21 PM Posted May 6, 2007 at 09:21 PM Was this the $60 flight? Anyway, I'm so gonna do this in December! Gosh, do I have a busy schedual for those 9 days Sorry, I can't remember the exact price, but it sounds about right. They were doing a special offer of 2 for the price of 1 for the night flight if you booked another trip with them. We did a flight over the Grand Canyon (which lasted about 90 mins) and the total was $590 (for both flights - 2 people). We flew over Lake Las Vegas on the Grand Canyon trip and the pilot was reeling off a list of who lives there. When he mentioned Céline, I piped up that we'd been to see her show the night before. Couldn't help myself The night flight (over The Strip) was by far and away the best thing. Can't wait to do it again. Quote
curlydaren Posted May 11, 2007 at 03:51 AM Posted May 11, 2007 at 03:51 AM Can I take pics of Celine while she's on stage? And of the theatre itself? The security will take any recording/camera devices away from you..you can pick your camera later on at the Box Office. Before the show starts there are pro photographers who take pictures..but I think the prize is up to 40$. WendyB Posted May 12, 2007 at 10:16 AM Posted May 12, 2007 at 10:16 AM They take 3 poses and you choose which one you want. If you buy 2 of them ($80) they'll give you the third photo "free" (but not in a frame). Last year I went with two friends and we each wanted to buy one, framed. We paid $40 each, but they also gave us each a second photo for free Quote

My toes actually bled lol And about the Eiffel tower, I'm not sure I'm gonna like that after having been in the real one If you were to recomend one CDS-show, which one would that be? (and where is it ) I had seen Mystere and it was good. I recommend Zumanity if you don't mind seeing something a bit racier. Le Reve-- BOOOOOOOOORING.i heard in zumanity theres lots of hot naked people , is this true Quote

Also, someone posted in one of the topics that they could have had their photo taken in front of the stage with the "mirror" as a backdrop. Last time I was there (April 2006) the only option was to have your photo taken in front of the AND logo. Maybe someone who has been there more recently could give more info Quote
Frida Posted May 15, 2007 at 04:08 PM Author Posted May 15, 2007 at 04:08 PM ugh, I've spent most of my day reading rewievs about Caesars (BIG mistake, I worry about everything), and the only ones that were good were from those who has stayed at the Augustus Tower/Palace Tower... Now.. I planned on staying in a classic room, but everyone HATED it... and now I don't know what to do... is it really that bad? I don't have high standards, I just want a bed to sleep on and a toilet/shower I've read that it's noisy, the tub is leaking, there are holes in the walls, the sheets are ripped and dirty and so on... have any of you stayed in a classic-room? what did you think about it?I don't think I can afford the AT/PT... and I really, really wanna stay at Caesars... oh, and about the picture-taking-thing... are the lines long? and can you have your picture taken in front of the stage even if your seats are in the rear orchestra and not front? aah, I worry too much... god, I wonder how it'll be when I'm actually there I'm so lucky I have you guys btw, in case I didn't say that... mucho love to you Quote http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p234/celinedion_56/tcc2copy3_zps08f18352.pnghttp://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p234/celinedion_56/tccgallery-1.png
Cheerfuljane Posted May 16, 2007 at 08:09 AM Posted May 16, 2007 at 08:09 AM When I was there in January they were taking pictures at the bottom of the stairs with the LED screen in the background with the frame and the audience in it ! Did that make sense? Quote

I while ago I read (somewhere, can't remember where) that you're supposed to use a certain exit after the show, so I thought that maybe your not allowed to wander arround down there before the show either... so maybe it wasn't possible for me/us to have the picture taken there... what do I know, I've never been there... Erin Posted May 16, 2007 at 07:11 PM Posted May 16, 2007 at 07:11 PM (edited) ^ i don't know why he's laughing either! whenever i've been there... a couple photographers are walking around before the show asking people sitting in the front and rear orchestra if they want their pictures taken. the people don't go down to the stage, they usually stand where they're sitting and the stage is behind them in the photo. i always say no to the photo because i'm always by myself...haha... so i have always just watched Edited May 16, 2007 at 07:13 PM by Erin Quote facebook / twitter

I don't think Caesars is bad at all. Everyone always seems so cranky on those review sites! I stayed at Caesars opening week, and i'm 99% sure i was just in a classic room (the newer tower wasn't even built yet..) and it was awesome. no problems at all. Caesars is one of the nicest places on the strip... I'd go live in the worst classic room they have there anyday! lol Edited May 16, 2007 at 07:31 PM by Erin Quote facebook / twitter
