Have a look on here:-

More info about the fountains and if you have a look at the Fountain Music List, you'll see there's 29 songs but some of them are only played near Christmas (obviously!). They play the songs/music in rotation, so you should be able to work out if Céline is due to be played :D

Indeed  Gosh I love talking about Vegas :in_love:

Oh, I also liked the Shark Reef, at Mandaley Bay. I touched one of those sea animals....like the one that killed Steve Irwin, but much smaller. It was a mother and three cute little babies. If you're up for a crazy ride, there are so many rollercoasters in Vegas. I only went in the one from Circus Circus' Aventuredome. It was my first time ever in a rollercoaster like that, which turns you upside down and on all sides... I got off it so dizzy, took 10 minutes to recover, then went on it again  The water slide there was really cool too.

thanks Wendy :flowers:

lol, I probably shouldn't try the rollercoasters, I get dizzy just by looking at them  and I've been at home for a week now because of my headache so I don't want to ruin the vacation by riding that :P

My husband wants to go on the one that goes through New York! New York! I'm going to take a lot of convincing....

Adventure Dome is overrated. i personally get more thrills and chills at the stratosphere.

I know, is the smallest rollercoaster on the Strip. But I never went on one of those before, so it was cool for me. Besides, I wouldn't go on the one at Stratosphere for a million dollars! Maybe for 2... Just kidding now, but I really don't think I could take a rollercoaster like the one at NY NY, my neck was hurting a little even from the one at the Aventuredome. And that one at Stratosphere is waaaaaay to far away from ground for me

Hey, has anyone took a boat ride at the Venetian? Is it worth the $40?

 That thing is scary for it being small (I'm a big chicken btw  )!!

Joe (JosephTNielsen) dragged me on to that roller coaster two years ago... I spent most of the ride screaming my head off ... I have to admit when the roller coaster is going up you get an AWESOME view of the south end of the strip!!!

I'll just have to camp out there then

No need to! Just go to one of the Bellagio information desks and ask for the fountain schedule!

But you'll be doing a lot of walking I can assure you. I walked around so much, I barely had time to eat, I lost 5 kilos in 8 days of staying in Vegas  It really was the best diet.

:w00t:

OMG!!!! So, if I'm spending 21 days there I guess I'll lose around 15 kilos!!! :bananadance: I guess I'll stop my diet right now and do it only when I'm in Vegas!!

And you guys talking about Vegas just make me wonder how it's going to be like when I'm there... I can't wait for my visa to come out soon so that I can confirm everything!

Haha! Only while the ride was slow and going up the first ramp, after that... I couldn't open them!

2) I have THE best brother in the world... He has offered to lend us money for the planetickets...

(If we can tell him how and when we're gonna pay him back :P)

ah, god, I'm crying right now.. I can't believe my dream might actually come true...

don't worry - those aren't bad seats at all :) i know us celine people always want orch 4 AA.. but the front of rear orch 3 is still amazing and, in my opinion, the best view of the whole show while still being close enough to Celine. It's my favorite place to sit when I can't be up in Celine's face...lol. You'll love it!

I have two other stupid questions for you :) ;)

1) We'll arrive on a Wednesday and the show is on Friday, can we pick up the tickets right away or do we have to wait until Friday? (I've been reading on both celinedion.com and ticketmaster, but that just made even more confused :P)

2) If I can't controll myself and want to see her on Thursday aswell, is there a chance to get tickets earlier that same day? ("bad" 2nd mezz. seats)

thank you soo much for all your answers :flowers2:

1. You can pick them up. I did it about 4 days ahead :)

2. If there are any tickets left, yes you can get tickets, even AA tickets... at least some people got that right before the show. :)

hi all,

i have been to vegas 6 times in 3 years, which is some going as i am from the UK! Just got back from my latest visit on may 2nd.here are some of my reccomendations:

1.) Lake Las Vegas is a must! it takes 30 minutes by car,and this is the only way to get there really.if you head to the reflection bay golf course, and ask one of the caddys that hang around there they will point out celines house for you across the lake! you cannot get to her house it is all private land.

2.) a meal up the top of the stratosphere,it is quiet pricey, however the view is fantastic,a revolving resteraunt that takes a little over an hour to do 360 degrees! you must book in advance tho it is very busy!

3.) Visit the celine shop,i think her merchendise is pricey, but worth it.i just bought a bath robe it was $125!! keyrings are around $10 same for magnets, and t shirts around $30 each.the programme is $25 however this is the old one,a new one is due out any time now.

4.) watch the beatles love show at the mirage, fantastic!!! cheapest seats go fast and are $80 roughly!

5.) take a helicopter flight down the strip at night.this costs $60 for about 10 minutes, but is the best view of the strip you will ever see, you fly right near to the colluseum its cool!!

6.) take a trip to the collorado river,on a raft tour! this lasts 3 hours and costs around $120,but is good way to get a sun tan,and you will enjoy the scenery!

there are lots of other things to see and do these are just a few of many favourite memories of vegas.i agree that flat shoes are needed as there is lots of walking, even from one hotel to the next!

hope this helps...

rachel

take a helicopter flight down the strip at night sounds very interesting. I thought it's much more than $60 before. Can you take photos or video when you're on the helicopter?

That is cool! What's the company you went with? There are about a billion that offer different things like this in Vegas :giggle:

We've taken that flight too. It was a wonderful experience, so much so we're planning on doing it again in September (the travel company we've booked with offered the trip free if we booked before the end of January - so we did)!

Last time the company was Heli USA. Don't know if it'll be the same this time :D
