Céline singing with her diaphragm or throat nowadays?

That's the funniest thing I've heard on here in a long time- does Celine use her diaphragm or throat! hahaha!

 

Frankly I wouldn't care if Celine used her Quebecoise arse to sing with- it'd still be more tuneful, powerful, emotive and outstanding than anyone else. lol @ images of Celine singing Jim Carrey Ace Ventura style

what I do miss are the soft notes since Miracle the soft notes are more breathty... not full and soft like the good ol' days

technically speaking, in order to sing you need to use your diaphragm no matter what. It's a respiratory muscle. Using "throat" does not really exist. unless you are terming it throat, when you mean nasal? You vocal folds are found in your larnynx, they rub together with air pressure to make sound. The diaphragm is needed for respiratory function.

I don't think Celine has lost her voice as many of you say. She doesn't take so much care of it since she has other things to take care about (Rene Charles and her family) and performing also almost every day of the week doesn't have the best effect on vocal cords. She just doesn't care about her technique... however, she can get back into shape in no time. It's as with an athlete, once you don't train like you used to you lose shape, etc. But if you start training you can be in top shape again.

I think that Celine's voice has evolved into a richer deeper texture then some of us are use to hearing. I love these sudden changes in her technique. I would have gotten board with Celine doing the same thing over and over again. No matter what Celine does I will love her for it.
