"Immensite" Music Video on TeamCeline, and iTunes

OMG! I've just seen the music video on youtube and I'm speechless! Celine looks gorgeous indeed and the video is simple but beautiful. :wub:

I think it's a simple video. Celine is, of course, beautiful. :D

 

However, as a filmmaker, I'm a little bit disappointed. They recycled SO MANY shots. Also, most of the shots are panoramic and are distant wide shots. This makes for a lack of dynamics. This song has great potential for a massive and positively dramatic video - for example: Celine "flying" across the water with a majestic gown with 30 foot trainings gently gliding over the water, or there could be a storm drenching Celine with water as she runs through the lake and the water "parts" like a scene from "The Ten Commandments." ^_^ They seem to have shot it during the afternoon on a cloudier day with a $50,000 or less budget.

 

Anyway, this has got to be one of my most favorite songs from her. The video is alright. Regardless, the ending is adorable. :)

 

P.S. She needs to work with David LaChapelle for her next music video. He is an overly-extravagant artist ...and someday... me! ^_^

The video is absolutely amazing. Yeah, it's a bit simple somehow. i'm not sure if it's going to be a hit but I have faith in Celine! I'm sure the album and singles will be massive hit.

aww the ending is sweet!

 

i dont like how it was shot though. the concept had a lot of potential, but it was executed poorly. first they should have ditched the usless shots of that couple and the baby. and second, it seemed like a rush job because a lot of the shots of her she's got her hair all over her face and she's squinting and stuff. she looks great but the vid itself is blah.

 

That is exactly what i was thinking, Celine looked great but the video shows the budget was very low and very tasteless , it almost seem like it took 2 hours to make , something very dissapointing coming from her. Also im amazed how pretty they can make one look wow , she looked flawless!

It could have been so much better. For once, I'm disappointed. Once you've seen it, you've no desire to see it again-this doesn't bode well for Immensite IMO. I thought we'd have glamour and divaesque moments. Nope... :mellow:

Céline looks refined and very natural. The final shot is beautiful and touching. But the rest of the video feels rather generic -- the shots of the landscape and of the other couple look like they were lifted off a stock footage CD.

Not bad but not what I was expecting. I didn't really see the point of having the couple with the baby. Totally useless in my opinion. I love, love the ending with RC and Rene :wub: and I still love the song.

This video is not what I've expected...

But it's so surprised to see Rene & Rene-Charles at the end of the video :flowers:

Anyway, Rene-Charles' hair is too long, it covers most of his face in the video :huh:

A bit on the dull side, looks like a low budget video they could do without the couple and their baby. Too much wide shots, it has so much more potential. :mellow: But, Celine looks hot, and the ending is soo cute. Who would've expected that? :wub:

I still haven't seen video and I can't cause I didn't hear Immensite since that short clip on Cherie FM and I don't plan to untill I have an album in my hands :P . OMG< Same thought here!!! She absolutely needs to work with LaChapelle, he's a genius! :) She should also work with him for her English-album cover :)

However, I'm disappointed by the video as well :( Very, very disappointed....
