We got there on Monday--then were completely ready for the big concert and we got there to see it was cancelled. It's a horrible feeling, but I refused to let myself get devestated. So we walked over to Treasure Island and saw Mystere....which was life changing! We were going to have third row seats to Celine. It was a horrible situation. But I wish nothing but a full recovery for Celine. And while it would be sad for many, I think Celine should go ahead and cancel the rest of her shows and have a nice break and come back strong. I'll try my hardest to go back later this year. But for now, I'm back in Alabama...dreaming of what could have been. Quote

That's one good thing about this weekend, lol Imperial Palace gave me a GREAT room with a view of the strip/colosseum that I requested, so, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Saturday's show, we'll just have to see. I'll probably find out today because that's the way it's been going. Wednesday we found out about Thursday's show and Thursday we found out about Fridays show. They told me when I picked up my tickets for Saturday that there's a chance that the concert might get canceled again. Yeah it sucks when you plan something like this and shows are cancelled. Of course, Celine is only human, and she's going to get sick sometimes. She had a lot of time off in February, but it really was not a vacation. She was in New York, which was very cold, and working and she was at the Oscars. Just traveling around can make you sick, although at least she is probably doing it on her own plane. I hope she will be better and able to perform on St Patrick's day. I think she will have the luck of the Irish and be better for the rest of this weekend's shows. Quote

I've wanted to see her forever, and finally had my chance. Not so much. I'm glad tonight's show was cancelled too. I was debating whether or not to change my flight so I could stay to catch tonight's show. I decided to go ahead and come home. Looks like I made the right choice. You would have never have known that she was sick just the days before. I can't tell you how happy I was that she was there, and she was giving 150%, the crowd was on fire too! A MAJOR standing O after ANDHC, people knew she had been sick and the fact that she went on with the show was so great!!!! She held the very last note in I Surrender for the longest time, I was like "holy crap"!!! I couldn't believe it. I think she was trying really hard to prove herself, that she was back and she was going to make us happy! And great news...my good friend Janine (who's birthday it was) got the rose!!!! Yay, I am so happy for her....definitely a birthday she will remember. Celine told her "happy birthday girlfriend" it was amazing. Also, Nancy O'Dell from Access Hollywood was there (just taking in the show, not interviewing Celine or anything) and we kinda talked to her as we were leaving. She told Janine happy birthday and Kimberly requested a 30 minute special on the final show. I told her that we wanted LOTS of coverage!!! I am sure she doesn't have control over that, but we'll see! Also, I didn't have a ticket for tonight, and the show was sold out. Yesterday people were waiting in the standby line since 11am!!! However somebody was looking out for me, and amazingly I ran into the NICEST person ever who was able to get me a rear orch ticket for tonight, so I can enjoy it all over again! Yay! I can't wait!!!
