Teodora Posted April 4, 2007 at 06:14 PM Posted April 4, 2007 at 06:14 PM It's about 990$ for 9 nights at the Mirage. The fountains play every hour starting 3 PM and every 30 minutes starting 6 PM, I believe. Quote
WendyB Posted April 4, 2007 at 06:25 PM Posted April 4, 2007 at 06:25 PM 20 minutes if you're "walking" (to be read "shopping") through the forum shops Otherwise is just across the street from Caesar's. Have you guys books your room online? Does it work well, is it safe? You must "walk" very quickly if you can get there any quicker. It may be just next door - but there are so many distractions! We booked our complete holiday online, using a UK company, so I can't give a view about booking direct with the hotel. Can't see why there would be a problem though. Oh and the fountains are wonderful. We were at the top of the "Eiffel Tower" one night and heard them playing MHWGO. Great view from up there too Quote
Erin Posted April 4, 2007 at 09:17 PM Posted April 4, 2007 at 09:17 PM Does anyone know if they play the Bellagio fountains 24/7? the bellagio fountains are my favorite thing here after celine, so I have the schedule down Monday to Friday - every 30 min from 3pm-8pm; every 15 min from 8pm - midnightSaturday & Sunday - every 30 min from noon - 8pm; every 15 min from 8pm - midnight I drove by there a little after 1pm today and the fountains were going off, though, so I don't know what was going on! haha. It really threw me off! Thought i had my days mixed up! haha. Quote facebook / twitter
Tal Posted April 4, 2007 at 09:30 PM Posted April 4, 2007 at 09:30 PM They test the fountains at certain times before they're scheduled to go on. And for the person who asked if its safe to book your hotel online, the answer is yes. I've booked rooms at Caesars a couple of times online and it worked out just fine. If you want, you can call to confirm, after you book it online. Cheerfuljane Posted April 5, 2007 at 07:13 PM Posted April 5, 2007 at 07:13 PM I loved the mirage although it's a little out of my price range. I filmed the fountain show of MHWGO in January but it's just over 100MB so I can't put it on YouTube I'm staying at the IP again. I'm sharing this time to cut the costs. Staying from 10 to 16 December. I always book everything online. Just make sure you use a reputable company like Expedia or book directly. Quote
Celinenvegas Posted April 6, 2007 at 03:02 AM Posted April 6, 2007 at 03:02 AM A girl I met on the standby line said she was staying at the Emerald Suites, she said it's near the MGM on Tropicana Ave. She said it's all suites and a good price - I didn't see it though but I know it's a long walk to Cesars from there. The Flamingo is really nice and not usually too expensive, but sometimes Ballys prices lower. I'm staying at the Aladdin with a friend, it's gonna be a Planet Hollywood hotel soon. I stayed there last month and it was nice but was undergoing rennovations. Quote ~J O E Y~
Teodora Posted April 12, 2007 at 11:45 AM Posted April 12, 2007 at 11:45 AM That's it, I booked my room at the Mirage, on their website. For 9 nights we're paying $883.99, that is $441.9 each (I'm going with a friend). That is really decent price, in Romania prices for 3 star hotels are higher and the hotels are awful. And the Mirage is a 4-star hotel. I still can't believe how cheap Vegas is from this point of view. Anyway, they only took a deposit of $97 and I can cancel 48 hours before check-in if I change my mind. I hope I can get them to give me a room with a view towards the Colosseum Quote
