To all of those fans out there that are not members of TeamCeline, without any bashing, what are the things that would make you pay to be a member of TeamCeline, if anything?

 

(Keep in mind, this is not asking, besides in the poll, why you are not a member, it is simply asking what could make you decide to be one in the future).

 

Just out of my own curiosity. I've seen lots of frustrated posts, long-winded thoughts and suggestions and such. I'm just wondering, if you could make a list of things that would make you want to be a member, what things would be on it.

More chances for meet & greets.

 

A question box where fans can submit a question to ask Celine and she writes a response to a few of them once or twice a month

i usually am a team celine member but i lost my job a while ago so i was unemployed for 3 months, i am employeed now but its goint ot take a while to get back on my feet. anyway, my membership expired during my unemployment so it had to go. so for me now being a non-teamceline it was mostly money, but if the other things were better i wouldnt have sucked it up.

I am a TEAMCELINE member now. But on Feb 9 my account will expired and I can't find a credit card to renew it anymore because my mom had cancelled it. Is there anyway I can renew my membership without a credit card?

 

Anyway, well I don't think it's much worth $25 though. Even the discount prices are too high to afford anyway. It would costs me a fortune to buy something from the boutique.

I know Celine is a busy girl but there are so many artists out there who are doing a great job in caring for their fans.

 

If you are a Leann Rimes member, for example, you have can meet her twice a year at a concert (dunno if this is for granted)

 

She and Darren Hayes are doing a journal once or more in the month, talking about what has happened during their last written entry.

 

The husband of Martina McBride (as far as I know) is taking care of the forum.

 

More exclusive stuff would be great and I MEAN exclusive!! Rare songs, cds, promos. Special DVDs (darren has a great dvd with intimate filming behind the scene, a great concert and interview)

 

And get rid of this stupid, cheap things of the botique! most of the things you can do yourself! most of the things are ugly and rubish and not worth the money!!

 

I'm a NON-member since day one of my fan-being (which will be 11 years this year) in the beginning it was only coz I had no credit card and couldn't afford it but now I think it's a rip off!

agreed. i am a member but sometimes i really wonder why. they need to offer SOMETHING to make it worth the money to join (exclusive downloads, dvds, meet n greet @ concerts)

Imagining that you could find some way to get the $25 for a year's membership, my question to you is....

 

What would MAKE you find the money?

 

I mean when we want things bad enough we try all that we can to make them happen/get them, right? So what would you have to see that would make you work extra hard for that money to become a member for a year?

I have been a member for 3 years. Really, the only incentive are the show tickets. That's why I membered up because I knew I would do the Vegas thing for a few years.

 

But... after Celine is gone out of Vegas, not much available to warrant the cost. sad to say. The only think I could think of would be to support Celine, but then that money goes into Sony's pocket, not hers. So I will buy her CD's

 

The boutique is mostly stuff (95%) for girls, any future concerts will likely be a world away and couldn't afford the travel even if the tickets were discounted. They never give us hi-res photos, just low-res crap, They still haven't mentioned Celine is going to be on the Oscars. So news is not that current either.

 

The forum here is much better than TC and provides much more content and members to chat with.

 

So, after next August, give me a reason to spend another $25.

I likely will do one more year with TC in the off chance that TC members may get some kind of special treatment at the last show It's possible and worth $25 more.

I just wonder one thing... one of the person who told that he/she can't afford the membership made a trip to Vegas from Europe last year... I guess it was a waaaaayyy more expansive then a TC membership...

That's why I think the real reason is not the money... so what??

I am a TeamCeline member and probably will be fore a very long time...only because I like the fact that I can say I am a TeamCeline member...but...I suppose there are things that can be changed. However, I think the things we may want to see from Celine and her team, may be too much to ask. Yes, Celine is busy and Yes, we would love more of her input, but really is that attainable? Maybe yes, maybe no. We know Celine loves to spend her free time with her family. I'm sure her life is chaotic as it is.

 

Well I dunno what else to add. Yes the more personal input from Celine and/or Rene to the fans (or TeamCeline) would be great. The online journal idea is a cool thought...but I dunno that kindda stuff is more for newer artists trying to connect with their fans, I think? Celine is quite established and she already has a strong bond and connection with her fans.

Well that's definately the way it is Bellamy.

 

No matter how hard they try, no matter what they do or how they do it, it will just never be right. Perhaps 10 years ago, but with the Internet to everyone's disposal it's just really hard. They've also got rules, permissions they need, etc. etc. we basically don't. That will always give us a lead..

 

Fans are the hardest to please, fans are the most critic, that has always been the case.

Membership costs 25 US dollars for 1 year but the longer membership you purchase, the cheaper it is - if I am right, 2 years membership costs 35 US dollars and 3 years membership costs 45 US dollars, right?

 

Polish Guys, just make you a bank account by Inteligo and you will be able to pay with your normal bank card as I do! I don't have credit card either.

 

But I agree, there could be more payment methods, for example PayPal is really common today and it would make things easier for many people, I guess.
