ummm there are alot of songs that my friends and family like of Celine, and their not fans!!

 

its actually funny ill be walking around with my friends or family, and all of a sudden they'll be humming or singing one of these songs. The most hilarious one is when my macho brother starts singing to its all coming back to me now or a new day has come!!

Great topic! In my experience, To Love You More is the one!

 

I graduated from high school about the time that came out (eep, feeling old!). One of my best friends and I used to bug each other all the time about our music, until she heard that song. Then I won.

 

Also, for many years, my brother's comment on Celine was always, "yeah, she has a good voice, but her songs are all garbage." After hearing that song, he said, "it's a great song, I just wish it was someone else singing it." Of course, I pointed out the contradiction. He's not exactly one to admit that he's wrong about anything, but after that his negative comments about Celine became a lot less specific.

well, it really depends, I think, on the age of the listener. For example my mother looooves "It's all coming back to me now" (she fell in love with that song when she watched the videoclip) and she is a fan of Pimpinela (a famous duet from my country).

My mother-in-law is not a great fan of hers, but she went crazy when she heard "Right next to the right one". She even makes a little dance when she listens to it...like a waltz or something

Regarding my friends, who are younger off course, they prefer uptempo songs. A good friend of mine, uses "You and I" and most recently "fade away" to excersise, and she is a Tango fanatic...so, it's amazing what Celine can do

recently on of my friends heard Can't Fight The Feelin' from Taking Chances as my ringtone & asked me what's the name & who sang it. when i told him Celine Dion he was like 'you're kidding'. eventually i got him to listen to some of the songs & he ended up liking Fade Away the most lol.

Well, I have two friends whole aren't fan of Celine's, bu my first friend loves Where Does My Heartbeat Now and the Power of love. And the other likes her French songs.

My dad is into hard-rock and the other day when I was watching A new day, and he sat down with me and watched a little while, then he said what an incredible show it was and that Celine is a great singer! He especially like Ammore Annascunnuto

My father, for example, is more into classical music. He doesn't really like pop-music, but he loves to listen to "You and I" and "One heart".He even bought the single of One heart.

My brother usually listens to Slipknot, Green day, Eminem and all kind of Hip Hop, but he loves "It's all coming back to me now". it's really weird!!

My mother doesn't listen to pop-music at all. But she loves "To love you more", "the power of love" and especially "Think twice".

i dont like think twice. its too hard to go through i dunno know its not one of Celine's classic hits.

I discovered that many friends of mine, including die-hard rock fans, actually adore "There comes a time". One of them couldn't stop listening to it Many different people love the song, including my Mom who sometimes can't stand when Celine sings high notes so she likes the lower pitch of the song.

My brother likes Techno music but when he was using my laptop few months ago I walked into his bedroom and found him sat on the floor with his eyes closed and listening to My Heart Will Go On and he listened to it over and over again.

My family knowes how much Celine is to me and they sometimes make fun of my adorement to her' but the funny thing is

that My mother who loves Barbra Streisand likes Celine and her voice' she even love Celine´s oldschool music especially the ones

she did on her 1993 The Colour Of My Love=When I fall In Love with Clive Griffin she loves the movie Sleepless in Seattle

and when she heard Celine she said she isn't so bad when she sings in this key not the high C one hehehehe...

My mom, who doesn't dislike Celine, but isn't necessarily a fan, likes Taking Chances. I know this because a few days ago, we were in the car and I had my ipod on when Taking Chances came up, and she said (without me having to say anything!)
