Sorry to ask, but in which aspect are you music experts? how come you affirmate so lightly that she isn't singing live. Sorry but I can't accept that

it doesn't hurt to observe a little on a celine performance. lipping is not a sin for celine. haven't u noticed her performances of, for example, TPOL and TLYM? i first heard her live version of the song TPOL on LIVE A PARIS, and if you listen very carefully and focus on each and every single lyric that celine sings, you can really tell. TPOL & TLYM are the most lipped song by celine if u listen attentively. watch the performances on AND dvd. celine sounds very similar to that of live a paris and memphis performance of TLYM and TPOL (except the 1st verse). observing just a little doesn't mean you are acting as if you are a music expert. if you are a fan, have an ear. :pinch:

I am so thrilled. I think, this is the best concert Celine Dion has. There are too many actions here, voice wise.

I would really, really but this concert DVD when it shows up in music stores.

It's great that she sung my all-time favorite "It's All Coming Back To Me Now", exciting songs for Celine to sing like "The Power Of The Dream" , "Declaration Of Love" and "All By Myself." And she sang it livE!!!

i dont think it is an ALL LIVE concert. as i've noticed, when she sang TPOL, the 1st chorus up to the end, it sounds very similar to her performance in LIVE A PARIS. and all of her future performances of that song. DOL is lipped as well, because i also saw the montreal tour and it sounds very similar to the memphis version,and not to mention the "piano sitting" moment. but TPOTD is live. MISLED,DOL & TLYM are lipped. but im glad that most of the songs are I THINK, performed live. if the dvd will include some bonus features (behind the scene, all access etc), i will definitely buy it, but if it will feature the exact content of the vcd/vhs, its a waste of money for me as i already own 2 vcd format of this concert.

Here we go again. It was NOT lipped. I was on the tour and saw her live. The reasons why it might seem lipped is video editing. I can't believe people are starting such a craze about lipping. Celine rarely does it but people are making it seem like it ALWAYS happens and this is ruining her reputation especially coming from her own loyal fans.

i agree with boyblackuk. but IYAMT is i think live. however, it is also easy to doubt you're a fan of celine as well. celine always perform TPOL and TLYM just exactly the way she sang it on memphis and TPOL on live a paris? that's stupid. and why are some folks here cant accept the fact that celine also lipped??? what's wrong with that? the problem is, some fans are in denial and always insists that celine sing LIVE ALL THE TIME. celine is no way a britney spears to lip her songs. what do you think of celine? a superwoman? being in the tour from 1996-1997? and sings all her song LIVE? oohh well... im sure you will insist that the las vegas 5yr concert is LIVE from 2003-late 2007. :sick: :sick: :sick:

I think, they're gonna release it at the later part of this year since "Live In Las Vegas - A New Day DVD is still doing good.

Besides, the blu-ray version is set to be released this February.

That makes 4 Celine stuff to promote and for fans to collect!

MY 3cents to lip synch issue

Celine is a great artist vocally and we have to face this, that she can sing ONe f--ing song as good and as similar as it is recorded on CD. And YES TPOL and TLYM is almost always lipped.

Before joining this forum I had watched her "Live In Las Vegas" DVD as well as her "Au Coeur Du Stade" concert and I was in no doubt that she sung every song live, no lip syncing at all. I can say this with absolute certainty because I have never seen anyone mime a song and not know that they are miming, it is so obvious. Unless Celine is the world's greatest ever lip syncer I just don't understand how people can look at these performances and start claiming that she is miming several of the songs. I have even gone back and watched the performances that people claim are mimed and I am still not convinced.

Celine does mime just like every other artist, in her "Audience With" show she mimed every song except two and it was so obvious that she mimed. When you are performing the kind of songs that Celine has performed they are very difficult to lip sync without looking like you are miming. If Celine is the greatest lip syncer then how come the "Audience with" show was so appalling?

I find it laughable that people go on about how her performances of the same song sound so similar when the fact is it's the same person singing the same song, of course it's going to sound similar. I also find it rather strange that people are happy to accept her lip syncing rather than performing the songs live. If I paid to go to a live concert and she mimed I wouldn't be very happy. She can mime as much as she wants on TV shows but when you are on tour then every single song must be sung live.

I also agree with several posts that certain people do seem to have some kind of agenda to give Celine a bad name by claiming that she always lip syncs the same songs whenever she performs them. Unless you have absolute proof to the contrary then I would suggest you keep quiet because you certainly don't sound like a fan of Celine.

haha why do we fight over lip syncing. yes she did indeed lip sync in several performances. its very evident. and theres nothing wrong with that. her shows are powerhouse vocals. sometimes you do need a break from vocal gymnastics to keep the show going strong. so give it up on fighting over it. its not due to video editing. because it doesnt happen with EVERY video editing. coincidentally on the SAME songs. its not a big deal. haha.

Live in Memphis was one good show. I just watched it the other day when I got bored. Love it.
