I can't believe that us, ALL of us here actually KNOW how she 'sounds' in general. I've been to A New Day... 18 times now, several times of which I saw the show in a row in the same week. The one night her voice is real 'bad' (if you can call it that! If Céline's voice is bad, she still sounds incredible) and the next day (and I really mean this litterally) she is in tip top 100% shape and sounds inhumanly good!!!

One can't just judge how Céline sounds overall based on some 4 bootlegs taped over the course of more than 3 years...

now i'm even more into an album with much less production and much more of her voice - let her sing with only the piano or maybe violins

There are major differences between this bootleg and the last one. Further proof that all the people stating with 100% "certainty" know what's mimed and whats not.

 

Even TPOL sounded different, the only one that sounds exactly the same is IDAN

I listened to the whole thing last night and I thought it was absolutely amazing! I felt kinda stupid though, cause I had goosebumps the entire time and I started to cry

 

SM is just.. wow! god... And is it just me, or is the "alive" 3:18 minutes into IA sung (don't mean celines voice) differently than the original recordning? At least I think so, it's a small detail I know, but I looove it.. and then the "alive" nr 2 at the very end.. she sounds like an ANGEL! those things made me aah.. I know I'm weird and crazy but.. I'm done now

Yes you are right, I'm Alive sounds very fine. However I don't like it when she yells at the audience 1 minute into the song...

 

This is a very fine track indeed, and I can't see why it shouldn't do well live, but it sometimes doesn't. This is however one of the times when it sounds very good live!

 

I missed the improvisations and the mystical feeling of Seduces Me here, which the last good bootleg had (the one, with the so called near cd quality sound).

 

I still miss Fever!!

 

ATW is nice, but it doesn't fit the show, I'm sorry.

 

Hearing TPOL I get so insecure on what I hear, I can't tell if it sounds as it usually does... the first verse surely has a different sound then the rest of the performance but still the rest doesn't sound like we're used to hear it. Is it the recording or is it a new version?????

Yes, you are right! This verison of BYLM is actually good. I thought nothing could make me feel anything for this song again. But this version is very good. Hope we'll have a version like this on the DVD. The only thing I didn't like was the note starting at 01:17. It is just loud and nothing more... The performance could had done much better without it. But besides that I have nothing to complain about when it comes to this performance. Wonderful.

This version is much better vocally than the one on March 5th. This is based on listening to ANDHC, TPOL, IACBTMN, BYLM. the speeches are a little different too.

All the dancers are walking across the stage in different directions and the scenery is like a busy city, so it plays off of that. Just a little interaction...

IS its not 100% playback, i was there on fri the 6th and sunday the 8th and every night was diferent and the very last part was diferent ,very similar but not the same . Until you go to the show and see it front row or actualy just been in there you will know what we are talking about. Being soo close to her when she sings give the chance to hear every breath,every note, i could hear her voice coming from her mouth not the mic. Go to the show and then talk otherwise.These recordings are nothing compared to the real sound of the theater and theres things you cant even hear thru them.

So go to the show and then give your opinion that way it sounds like you know what you are talking about.

on last friday she did it long but on sunday! dear God it was the longest she has ever done it . Right before she did the last note she took a big breath i mean big , and then she let go for at least for 25 to 30 seconds it was unreal , my group of friends were soo shocked (there first time at the show)

25 or 30 seconds it's impossible! Playback or you are confused.... Because sometimes the note seems very long, but then it's just 10-15 seconds
