What did she do to her voice!?

I just hear the most recent version of IA. She went only nasal at ONE single line. I mean really nasal. The rest was so flawless. OMG I don't know what she did to her voice but she's sounding the best since 1996.

edit : just heard "seduces me" - she is sooooooooo nasal it's not even funny but her voice is strong and she sings it easily ...i love that last part whens he goes up on "every TE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEAR that u cry"

OK I just played IS from MArch 2004 and IS from September simultaneously and while I believe some parts are indeed lipped, it's WAY LESS than gogo and others think here. She lipps merely a couple notes but somewhat in the middle the two version SPLIT and you can hrear the differencies clearly. I'd say 75% live, really live, each night and that's MUCH. I always believed ppl who told the song sounds different everytime they go and see her which is true due to live singing! I'm really happy to have discovered this.

maybe she gives more this days cause she knows it's her last year and she is doing less shows , so she has more time to rest her voice . also , she is probably getting ready to record 2 new albums - OMG i hope the producers will know how to deal with this amazing instrument

Actually, it's not much less she has to do.... she has to do 141 shows next year.. which is a few less than previous years.

Well, I think she can asound as amazing as on "Dreaming Of You" but she has to rest her voice before recording the new English album. There's no way around.

OMG IS is so sounding SO GODD! At one point in the file (the 2004 version) is SO strangled by her LIVE LIVE LIVE vocals and she sounds so FABULOUS. OMG It's around 2:19 of both files. So beautiful! She lets it all flow! Ohhhhhh I hate the song but I love the new vocals she added. It's really not THAT much she added but still if you listen closely you will notice them at all events.

yeah the 'holy nasal trinity'....seduces me, bylm and fever but now fever is out. but those songs were always really nasal and throaty.

 

i listened to the bootleg as well and IS was really good and like Seb said, most of it is live.

I don't think I Surrender is the same of the other times, but maybe the last note is playback, because it's so high, and so long! But she don't sounds nasal, and i was decepcionated with anothers bootlegs with that song, and this time i was excited!

Well it's the truth..those who haven't seen the show yet, can't possible know this, but those who have..they do. But they're not allowed to say anything, remember: what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

I listened to it but the only thing I'm IMPRESSED with is the quality of this bootleg - it was made by a fellow-fan called Jonny - he placed the recording thingy under his seat and taped the whole show!

Isn't that just incredible?... Thank you Jonny!

 

Celine's voice is getting better by the day, surely she has resumed her daily vocal training and she's being more careful: it's time to write new legends about THE greatest singer of all times so singing will surely be a top priority for her again. It's going good, but not great (still). I;m not being ungrateful, it's just that... she can do a million times better than this and we all know it.

 

... the high note on "Seduces me" was a beautiful surprise and I hope to God it was not lipped. Have to say : Welcome back, Celine!!!

Gogo, please let it be. She sounds fabulous. Only sometimes nasal here and there. All I see is a MAJOR MAJOR improvement over the last couple of years. ANDHC is flawlessly sung live.
