takingchances83 Posted November 12, 2007 at 06:59 PM Posted November 12, 2007 at 06:59 PM I dont really like the packaging! i went to Morrisons supermarket to buy it as its on my way home from work and the packaging put me off a fair bit! i thought perhaps that was the version they had and that if i tried elsewhere id get a more traditional good old cd case! but i think now thats the packaging of all of them, the sort of sleeve thing> lol im so dumb! so i aint got a copy yet but i may just download of itunes and buy a physical copy later in the week! 2 sales for celine then! as in morrisons the shelf was full of taking chances but nearly empty of leona and spice girls. CDI Posted November 12, 2007 at 10:47 PM Posted November 12, 2007 at 10:47 PM Hi everyone, ok got my two albums today... both TAST Special Edition and TC Deluxe Edition... the packaging on both are identical, must be a new form of Digipak, probably cheaper to produce... both are now released in the UK Anyway, My TAST album seems kinda weird, some of the pics look almost green in colour, nowhere near matching the original pics, the pic on the back of the booklet looks like it was scanned in and blurred in photoshop to get rid of the printer marks and the background design is DEFINITLY scanned, the little musical lines that run throughouht the original album are pixelated... this only happens when a low res version or a scanned image is used.... and to top it off I got the one with a Pen mark across her face on the front so thats being sent back... oh did anyone notice the family pic also?, theres a red band down the side/edge of the page with what looks like the start of a letter, I think mines was cut wrong in production lol.... and the DVD is a nice item but kinda badly edited... anyway enough complaining... still a nice item!... just seems a bit less than I expected both material wise and packaging wise... a bit of a poor design on TC too if you ask me when you compare it to albums like LTAL & TAST... Anyway, the Vegas DVD looks promising... although how did they decide the Fan Appreciation thing, was that like TC members only or did I completely miss something here??? There are only about two to three songs that I'd consider fillers (I just say one of them is considered to be a single, that's all ) - which is good: her last albums had lot more of that kind. Overall it's so good. The album is so rich musically, there are so many colours in her voice. I really digg My Love, outstanding track. Quote

So, one of them pulled me by the hand and yanked me over to the music section. I was like.. "No, no, no. It's okay. There are three people working in that department and there are like 20 people with xbox games in their hands. I don't want to go against the gamers. I have to say the album is even more amazing than listening online. Its definitely her BEST english album since Falling Into You. I have to say the Bonus DVD of the show is AMAZING. I have only watched Power of Love and I Surrender. Watching it crystal clear is like being there. I do want to point something quite unusual though. The youtube clip of I surrender put up on the forum a few days ago...well thats sung live...but on the DVD (which is the exact same clip and performance) its the playback version! Does anyone else notice this? Maybe I am wrong..but it sounds alot different that the clip on youtube that someone posted. In any case..the clips are amazing. I have NO doubt in my mind that the DVD will be amazing. As for the CD..phenomonal!!!!! Its gonna be a classic. Oh and whatever you do..get the deluxe edition with the DVD!!! Quote
