And i think it will be look a little bit like Christina Aguilera's!

Is there a sense to put the enchanting perfume in a special created new box?

For me not.

i was thinking the other day... about DF...

so r u a little disappointed that there's no David Foster on this album??

for me just a little... maybe 1 track from him would be alright!!

Hell no!

 

I am greatful this album has no David Foster on it, just as happy I was about D'Elles not having Goldman on it. That mean no rediculous, embarrasing, dorky, out of date up tempo French tracks on D'Elles (except a Goldman touch on Les Paradis and Femme Comme Chacune) and no horrible synthetic pianos a la Foster on TC (we get real wonderful piano on SFY instead ).

 

But the Foster fans have already been given A World To Believe In, rejoice about that and don't whine about the fact that there's no Foster on the album.

 

the most important thing that is seen very well in this album are the lyrics, for the first time i feel that theres really good meaning in celine songs i feel it in every song especialy surprise surprise i think it should be a single as well i love it,especialy the last part whenn she says surprise surprise,i like how celine sings it and its like she feel it very well kara is really great

 

No no no no no and yet again no!

 

I too, like Surprise, Surprise now from the tracks I have heard in full. This is the nicest English Céline track in years, why - because it has some good and logical lyrics. It is high quality album fill out, but not single material. This is not a hit. Sorry...

Got to agree with you Fred about not having David Foster on the album. I remember watching the Making Of Miracle and when interviewed even David Foster admitted his surprise to still be working with Celine after all this time. Miracle as we know was nice, but ever so slightly dull.

 

It's good creatively for Celine to work with new people and find a different direction.

David Foster held Celine back in the early 90s bubble. I've listened to only TC songs over the past week- (mostly only Alone and TC and MTMH cos I don't wanna oversaturate before next Monday) and it's really quite clear how different this album sounds to her past material. I listened to some of LTAL album today and it is vastly softer and more mushy. If she had worked with Foster I don't think we would have had a change- we would just hear about how she's about to retire. Again.

I think David is very talented and he was a HUGE step to getting Celine known in the early 1990s, and he succeeded.

 

Just as Celine moved on from Eddy Marnay, Luc Plamondon, she's moved away from Diane Warren and David Foster. She's a work in process and a re-invention.
